The beach was a bit gritty but other than that I have no complaints against this resort. The staff were helpful. The location is secluded but close enough to the local town for an easy bike ride on the free bikes. The food was fresh and tasty, but it started to get a bit samey after a week. A bottle of water was placed in each table at every meal. Nice touch. Tat count - low. Pool water - clear (though I did get an ear infection when I got back home. I don't know if that was connected). Food - fresh and tasty. Rooms - top.

What a fantastic location for a resort. In lovely rural Greece, but only 20 minutes from the airport this resort currently feels very new having been refurbished 2 years ago. The facilities are great, with a full size pool, small climbing wall and all the standard Neilson offerings. There are a few local bars within easy walking distance and plenty of beautiful sights if you want to take a bike and cycle to see them. Excursions to ancient Messini, local climbing spots and various other interesting locations are all on offer should the desire take you. What a great place to be!

A fabulously well organised activity holiday for families that like sailing, cycling, gym, tennis and socialising. Kids clubs are amazing, takes the kids a few days to settle in then they won't leave! Food is incredible, staff amazing, accommodation excellent. What can I say, do it. Surfs up.

We had a great stay as a family of 4. Having been to a couple of other Nielsen beach clubs this one delivered as expected. It was a little bit different in a few areas, which I was think was due to Covid. E.g. there were changeovers every day instead of the usual once or twice a week. It made the vibe a bit more transient and I think it was wearing the staff out a little as it made it harder for them. Still, all things considered it was a great week. I specifically recommend the road cycling, some fabulous routes. I didn't do much on the MTBs so wouldn't comment. The sailing was great too, light winds in the morning (very flat for the wakeboarding and water skiing) and a good sea breeze most afternoons but a bit of a seaway can form so windsurfing is a bit harder, especially if you're bad at water starts like me. Great for sailing though. We also did tennis which was good. Pretty hot mind. The pool is great, huge, but it was a bit cold. Frankly they could do with a cover for the night time at this time of year to keep some of the heat. Luckily we took shortie wetsuits for our two small kids so they were ok using it but many others didn't use it much.

Fantastic – loved every minute and we have nothing but praise for absolutely everybody at the resort. We really were most impressed with the way the resort is run. The staff is nothing short of amazing and easily the main asset of the resort – both the hospitality run by the Greek staff and the UK Neilson crew that looked after activities. Nothing is too much trouble and you only have to lift the phone to the reception to have any request or an issue attended to within minutes. The general manager Dimos is always around and happy to help with anything, all staff are smiling and helpful, efficient and good at what they do. The resort is situated on an unspoiled long sandy beach, in two-storey accommodation blocks of 12 apartments in each. It never appears crowded, as guests are spread out through a lot of activities – there is so much on offer that a week isn’t long enough to take advantage of everything. The watersports alone would be enough to keep you occupied – there’s sailing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, sea kayaks, windsurfing; also cycling, swimming pool, yoga, fitness, tennis, gym. It is worth obtaining a sample of activities’ sheet from Neilsons in advance of your holiday so you can plan what you are going to do. Accommodation was spotless, well appointed, spacious. Daily housekeeping with full clean; our housekeeper was amazing. All apartments have either a balcony or a terrace and there are a table and 2 chairs as well as small wall-mounted laundry drying racks on those. There is a safe and hair-dryer; bath, hand and beach towels, a very handy mini-fridge (with a tiny freezer compartment!) which contained 2 large chilled water bottles for our arrival. Toiletries are provided. The apartments are air-conditioned (do note that the air-con is linked to a sensor in the patio door, if the door is open the air-con will stop operating). Food – meals are taken in the restaurant on a covered terrace, you go inside to serve yourself from the buffet where masks and gloves were provided on entrance. The choice and quality of the food were excellent. At dinner in addition to the various buffet dishes there were also specials on different evenings – mussels, pulled pork, roast duck, paella. On the 3 non-inclusive nights (breakfast and lunch, but no dinner) you can either pay separately for a BBQ at the resort on one night (delicious and amazing, the tuna alone was to die for!), or just go into local tavernas. Note – wine and other drinks apart from filtered water, coffee/tea (and juice at breakfast) are not included and need to be purchased separately. Activities – plentiful, varied, well led by very friendly and helpful staff. We concentrated on our favourites and could not obviously try everything, we did sailing, sea kayaking, road cycling, gym, pool and sea swimming, and that took most of our days with no time to spare for anything else. A thing to note about cycling – road bikes will not be allowed out in wet weather, or even if it rained in the morning; only gravel and mountain bikes, unfortunately there were not many of those and we were not able to go out on bikes on a number of occasions when all the gravel/MTB’s were taken. Staff told us that they will be ordering more gravel bikes for next season. We are a family of adults but did observe kids’ activities on occasion and staff looked very confident and caring with the children, and kids seemed to be having a lot of fun – I can tell you that we were jealous watching them being taken for rides out to sea in a rib!!! Finally I would like to specially mention and thank the swimming instructor George ? To conclude, this was easily the best all-inclusive holiday we ever had. We would (and already did) recommend Neilsons Messini Beach Club to family and friends, and intend to return next spring or summer; we can’t wait. Thank you to all the staff again, you are doing an amazing job and should be proud of the quality of service you provide.

I had a great week here in September 2021. COVID measures were sensible and manageable. Many guests failed to respect the restaurant one way system but people will do that. The activities I enjoyed were sailing, mountain biking and rock climbing. The climbing excursion was awesome and I highly recommend that. The resort is good, clean and fairly well maintained. Staff - excellent. My only criticism is the food. Plentiful but BLAND! Not much variation from day to day either. The same weak Bolognese every single day. Come on, people! Spice? Seasoning? Be adventurous please!

Love Messini Beach Club. Fantastic holiday for the sport obsessed. Brilliant kids club, loads of activities, delicious food with good range for vegetarians/vegans, and lovely accommodation on the beach in secluded rural Greece. Was our second visit (first pre-covid) so hoped it would live up to our expectations post covid and it did.

The resort is very good, the bikes are good but I do like front gear changers on the mountain bikes. The tennis is extremely good with seven courts. The food was great too with lots of choices. The only thing I have to complane about was not receiving any of the spar temple products in my room as promised in the neilson on line ad .
