I stayed in Niche Hotel in October 2021, it was an amazing stay. Our window faced the Acropolis and also the hotel restaurant has a beautiful view. Location is magnificent. The staff is wonderful, easy check in and check out, I especially had a great experience with Panos, he was very professional and helpful with all my questions. I look forward to visiting Athens again and Niche is definitely the place to stay!

Niche is an amazing hotel! The staff is always welcoming, extremely friendly and professional. They were always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect - all the main attractions are probably within a 30 minute walk from the hotel, along with delicious Greek restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a decent view of the Acropolis. Breakfast is served on the roof-top bar with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. While the breakfast selection was the same everyday, there was variety and it delicious and filling to help jumpstart your day of exploring the city. The restaurant was still closed due to COVID so breakfast was the only meal option. From what we understood, they plan to reopen in May 2022. Highly recommend!

Stayed for five nights in April and there are parts about the hotel that were great, others could do with some work. The best bits: (1) Lovely view of the Acropolis when you have breakfast & the breakfast itself is a very large spread with plenty of tasty treats (good quality food too); (2) nice new and freshly decorated rooms with quality finishes, comfortable beds even if ours was a little on the smaller side; (3) Really lovely staff that are warm and welcoming; (4) apart from the busy road, hotel is perfectly situated for the Acropolis and lots of nice eateries. The less good bits: (1) The hotel is located on one of the busiest roads in central Athens and despite triple glazing, there was still quite a bit of noise which did take some adjusting to. It didn't prevent me sleeping but wasn't that tranquil (the hotel may have better more expensive rooms that are less noisy); (2) You get 2 coffee pods (+ 2 decaf) for the duration of your stay, after which you pay for new ones. This policy feels at odds with the image the hotel aims to portray (why not at least offer further complementary pods on request from the reception if you are worried about people using too many?) (3) Housekeeping - while I have no doubt the cleaners work very hard, a few times our room was "cleaned" but used espresso cups were left and no refill of the shower gel.

Located a few yards away from acropolis station, this hotel offers nicely designed and comfortable rooms for a rational price. The cherry on the cake for us was breakfast, served at the roof top, providing breathtaking views over the acropolis and of a great quality and variety. They even serve fresh coffee and orange juice, setting you up for a great start of the day ahead visiting Athens.

We had a comfortable stay here for 4 nights. The staff is good and helpful. However, there are a few quirks about this hotel: 1) They have a coffee machine but they provide you only 4 coffee pods (out of which 2 are decaf), but these are for the full length of your stay and they aren't replenished each day. Same goes for the 2 juice bottles inside the fridge. 2) They said they can't give us a room upgrade because we were staying there for a longer period. Had we stayed only for a day or two, they could have upgraded us. These don't make sense to me, it's like they are incentivizing shorter duration stays rather than long ones. Wonder what they would have done if we had booked 4 days in 4 separate bookings? ? The other complaints are: One chair in the room broke when I was sitting on it, and by some luck I didn't fall and get hurt. The breakfast spread, while good, is the exact same every single day and some variety would have been much appreciated. The Acropolis view is quite great though.

George was very welcoming since interacting with him online to in person. He was very helpful and kind throughout our stay there. He even helped us pick up our converter that we left several days ago. Alex worked upstairs at the bar and was very accommodating with our drinks. He was very friendly, sweet, and attentive. He also demonstrates amazing customer service. They both deserve a raise! This hotel was beautiful with amazing views! Everything was very clean and rooms were spacious. I would definitely come back to stay here.

We stayed here back in May. The hotel was clean, great location to get to the tourist destinations, and the morning buffet was delicious! The young woman on the front desk on the evenings of May 6 & 7 (I think her name was Joanna) could not have been more friendly and helpful! We were so appreciative of her, and she helped us so much with recommendations with transportation and restaurants. She helped make our Athens visit wonderful!!

The location of this hotel is excellent. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. The views from the rooftop bar are fantastic. The staff on check-in were fast and efficient. All the waiters, porters and concierges were very well spoken and so helpful. Booked taxis for us and gave recommendations when asked. The breakfast was typically Greek but lots of choice and the service was first class. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We had an issue after checkout time but the receptionist went out of their way to look after us. I can recommend this hotel as well as a long weekend trip to Athens.
