★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really friendly, linked in with Avis. The immediate immersion into Athens traffic may come as a shock so make sure you are really ready to go. Sat Nav is useful, we used Google maps. A USB charger also, if not take one to put in cigarette lighter socket. Good quality cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may use this company car only in case you want your holidays in Greece to be ruined and spoilt by insolent and impudent attention from car manager in Sigrou avenue. Be prepaed to be charged for smallest damage to the key ring 10 or 15 times more it real cost. The manager will not pay real attention to your claims. If you will arrive to the airport in the night - the car will be parked in very bad lightened area and you should pay attention to the key ring - as you may be charged unfair and unjustice amount. Our personal experience was extremely bad. rental agreement 935056006

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family was robbed for 200 eur by unfair employees of Budget: we took a car and a car key was already cracked a bit. We didn't pay to many attention to this and took it as it was working normally. When we were returning the car and the key in the same condition after a week, we were told that was us who broke that key and we were charged for 200(!) euros immediately!!! That was absolutely unfair. Also the key can't cost so expensive. I believe this is their scheme to charge and rob the travelers routinely. I can't recommend this car rental, unfortunately. Hope this feedback will save your money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car was ok but the pickup and filling all the documents took them 1hour. Also the lady who was issuing the car didnt mark one of the scratches on the car that was on it before. Thats what caused me trouble afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reserved weeks ahead of time, arrived on time the day of, and the car wasn't ready for well over an hour after we reserved it. Not a good experience and it threw off our vacation's schedule.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really slow bureaucratic service and extremely old car that an hour after we received got a high temperature fault error. We had to add something under the hand holder thing as it wouldnt stay up

If you want your vacation ruined, go ahead and book a car with Budget!
Luckily, we were able to find Avance car rental with good customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is shared with Avis and Hertz is next door. Slightly chaotic pickup experience, unclear which line was which and who was first. But once we got to the agent things went smoothly if not super quickly. It’s on a busy multi lane street in downtown Athens (NOT in Piraeus port area) and there’s only a small off street area for dropping off and picking up vehicles, maybe 4 cars max parked randomly- so they were frequently blocking off one lane of the road outside for this purpose instead. Starting out into traffic can be nerve wracking if it’s your first time driving there! We got a clean almost new car.
