The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced and cooked in a simple traditional way. it is important to understand that this is a tavern and not a posh restaurant so what you should expect is to be seated in a table just by the sea under the shade of old tamarisk trees, have some ouzo or raki while you wait for the Greek salad, boiled greens, Cretan yogurt, calamari and fried or char grilled fresh fish.

In addition to that, the food is fresh and traditional, just excellent(you should really try the fish)!Plus, dont worry about the prices and the portion sizes... You will be amazed! And to top the experience off, having lunch next to the sea is just a lovely experience! Really the best place for everyone: families, travelers, youngsters and older people! If you come near Kastri / Keratokampos, it is a must visit!!

The food was simple (like classic cretan cuisine) and so tasty! Staff was very friendly and kind, prices fantastic. We travelled to Keratokambos only because of this place and it was worth it ❤️ we will definitely return and thank you!
