★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is an old dome. The ruins are all that is left. We went here mainly to see the odeum (theatre), but you can also see the old gates, cemetery, baselic and much more in the entire environment.
The ruins are in very bad shape. The gates and walls are the best, the odeum is falling apart and the baselic, well there is almost nothing left.
We went to the odeum first. Here we learned that we actually needed a ticket of €8 per person and we needed to buy it over are the entrance of the baselic. But since we were there already, the woman was kind enough to let us in still.
After the odeum we went to the baselic, in the hope of seeing some beautiful stone crafted sculptures and mosaic. But we were disappointed really. Everything looks ghetto and there had just been no maintenance to the place at all. Even the odeum. Everything looks like a dump.
We did see some mosaic though, but don't go there to get mindblasted of beautifulness, because that is really not it.
With the ticket you can also visit the museum in the town nearby. Students and people under 18 are free.

Its free and you can drive and/or walk around at your leisure and explore the impressive bounty of history to be had here. Do yourself a huge favor while your in the neighborhood and check out the Nikopolis Archeological Museum just a short drive south of here to maximize your enjoyment, understanding and appreciation of the area :)
