★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Safety onboard is very poor. The boat stopped at the Kolokitha bay for a short swim. The current was very strong. I’m no great swimmer but I managed to swim back to the boat after I realized the strong current. Another guest came into trouble and called for help. The crew did absolutely nothing. A guest tried to throw a life buoy but the line was not ready for immediate use and was not an approved SOLAS type (above 4 kg), so it was unusable. A few other guest came to his rescue and got him back to the boat. The crew just watched and did nothing.
Later the guide made a comment on the incident on the guided tour at Spinalonga. It was his own mistake and he should not swim if you can’t swim.
I strongly disagree. The crew should have informed about the current and asked the guests to stay close to the boat and handled out life vests to those who do not swim very well.
Spinalonga is worth a visit, just not with this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just finished an afternoon trip with Nostos cruises. The trip was very enjoyable and interesting. We were pleased with our guide, Dimitri - he was very knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about his job. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the trip to Spinalonga. Very crowded boat. Service in general is very friendly. We stopped at an overcrowded and rocky beach for a swim. Food was ok. I would recommend to visit Spinalonga with a different boat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. The "beach" is a deserted place with rocks and bushes. No actual beach. The BBQ was served on a tray with no tables so we had to sit and eat on our lap if we were lucky enough to find a seat as there aren't seats for everyone. We finished eating them offered our seat to others and we stood for the rest of the trip. The pork chop was super dry and the grid they use is super dirty and rusted. The entire trip felt rushed. We barely had any time on spinalonga and even less time on the deserted island with no beach.
Definitely not worth the effort let alone the money

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've spent an amazing day with nostos - i can only recommend.
The crew speaks at least 3 different languages, they are very friendly and caring. They don't rip you off the money or the time. You get what you paid for. My favourite part was the swimming in the middle of the bay close to the Kolokitha beach. And during the Spinalonga tour with an amazing guide - Gloria - I've get informed about the history of the island. It was everything but boring. The lady has deep knowledge of the history, she made me emotional and she also made me laugh. It was a delight to listen to her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The booklet description does not math the actual tour. We only stopped at spinalonga & some beach for the BBQ. We didn’t go close to the goat island like it’s written in the booklet. The island of Spinalonga itself did not meet my expectations… drinks at the bar there are very expensive. We paid 10€ for a can of soft drink & a watermelon slush. The entrance to the island costs 8 euro per adult . If you’re under 25 then you pay 4 euros I think (an ID is required ). The staff generally friendly . The BBQ - average. You get a piece of meat , some salad & 2 pieces of bread after waiting in a chaotic queue. I wouldn’t book the tour again…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trip to Spinalonga was on time . The staff was friendly and the burgers were tasty :) . We travel to Agios Nikolaos with our car. Tickets cost 17 €/pp for cruise. Translation to English, Polish, German, French. The only small surprise we had when on Spinalonga we needed to pay an extra 8€/pp which we didn't know.
