Omega Divers | Crete Diving Center - Almyrida 1

The experience at Omega Divers was outstanding! It was our first time trying Scuba diving, and I was totally scared and freaking out just at the idea of it. BUT: our instructor Jack has been amazing, he was taking care to explain us dive basics to make sure our experience to be unforgettable! We got a little introduction on the tools and basic signs to communicate underwater, and this has made me more relaxed about it. The location of the dive is magic: a little bay/lagoon not far away from the center, we wear the right sized masks and suit, get ready with the air and weights, fins on feet and then go! There is an instructor every 2 persons so we were fully followed on our dive. Jack showed us all the little flora and fauna of the sea, location is gorgeous, some rocks on the seabed with a great variety of fish, with Jack's help we could also see sponges, squid and an octopus on our first dive! We also got a lot of memorable pictures and videos made by Jack! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Great experience with a great instructor. Freya is an amazing instructor who makes you feel like you are in your own environment while diving. No fears, no worries. She is so attentive about the "students" she has. We loved her! Thank you so much for introducing us to diving!

Had the best experience ever! My friend and I called them the night before and everything went so smoothly— someone got to our airbnb and picked us up exactly at 830am for our 9am slot. Once we got there, they gave us our wetsuits and we hit the road. We had 1+h of snorkeling and another of SUP (was with the team for 4 hours and everyone was amazing. Very responsible and funny team (shoutout to Yan!!) Would definitely recommend!!

Very nice and professional diving club. I wanted to go diving on Crete with my girlfriend so I booked the elephant cave dive for two. Some minor things went wrong in the communications however. But seeing as it is quite an operation to organise a dive, and they are minor issues, I don't blame them. Nevertheless I will mention them. My girlfriend was not allowed to go diving in the cave because she did not have a PADI open water license (a booking error on my part). I rebooked a refresh dive for the both of us and they refunded her part of the elephant cave dive without questions which was nice. Also they told me in the mail she could come on the boat ride to the elephant cave to go snorkling/swimming. Upon going however they told me there was no more room on the boat for an extra person. Fortunately one diver did not show up so the problem was solved. But I would have been upset if she was not allowed to go even though it said so in the mail. I don't blame anyone though. There is alot of people working there and alot of communication lines. Best to double check the details prior to going by calling. The instructors were very professional. We were guided by Matt for the refresh dive and Frank & Sergei for the elephant cave program. I never had the feeling of beeing unsafe and they all had a keen eye for us. They all made clear well visible handsignals and took their time with us. I filmed everything with a gopro and during the refresh dive my bubbles made the gopro slip from my head once. Matt saw it and caught it for me as it was going down. This goes to show how well he was paying attention to his divers. Frank is a calm relaxed guy that knows the difference between serious briefing and time for fun. He also accompanied the dive with information about the cave whilest surfacing in the cave which I did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Sergei guided us very well, often checking in on us and taking pictures. They made sure they had a rear guard and a leading diver. Well organised. In conclusion, very nice professional divers. A good service, would definitely book again! :)

Amazing experience, start to finish. I was well looked after, and the instructor did her very best to make my underwater dive as memorable as possible. Couldn't wish for anything more.

An awful employer, who cares little about their employees. They are just as bad about the care they show for anything regarding a customer, other than obtaining the customers Euros. If you are seeking a quality dive operation who is focused on safty, good well maintained equipment, and a genuine concern for their customers and employees; Omega Divers is not the dive operator you want to give your money to. Plenty of good quality dive operations in Crete, unfortunately Omega Divers is not among the best or even good operators in Crete. Dive, dive, dive

Best dive school I've ever been to!!! Just completed my rescue diver and Julie, my instructor, was so calm and relaxed and the 2 days of open water assessments were fantastic!!! The accommodation on site was lovely and was very grateful to Christine for rearranging things last-minute due to flight changes. I would highly recommend Omega divers for anyone looking to do any diver training: unfortunately couldn't dive Elephant Cave this time around, but hopefully will get an opportunity another time ;-)

Had a great time diving here. After a refresh dive we went to the Elephant Cave on the next day. Had to cancel the last dive of the week due to an ear problem but sorted theoretical course material with them instead. All instructors were knowledgeable and very friendly, and the cave was beautiful. On the minus side the first day felt a bit hectic (the car was needed for the next pickup in Chania) and the gear is starting to be on the worn side. All the other days were less hectic and all in all it was a great experience. Will definitely be back if we come back to Crete!
