10/10 would recommend. I panicked but they had the patience to deal with me ? Also the transfer from the chania old town to the diving place is great ?

We took the Discover Scuba Diving course - we had a transfer from the centre of Chania to the diving centre. After a quick brief and information, we took the equipment and went to the beach when we learned to dive. The place was very pretty, but the waves were quite strong. Maria, our instructor, was very patient and reacted well to our needs (I was stressed ?). In the end it was fun, but also very professional. ? A great experience. ? We also got a few pictures from diving (included in the price).

Omega divers are absolutely amazing. Me and my boyfriend did scuba diving for the first time with them and people there are real professionals. They explain everything, they make you trust them right away; you can see that they know what they are doing and they can make you know what you are doing! The diving experience is awesome! Will definitely do that again. Great pictures and videos provided for free. Highly recommended.

Thank you to all at the diving centre for the PADI, very well run setup and special thanks to Julie & Robin who were excellent instructors and put us at ease and taught us well. Can't wait to go again, thanks!

We did a four dive package (shipwreck and elephants cave (this is an absolute must- incredible dive experience!)) and were very pleased. Staff is super friendly and the whole process smooth and efficient. Be aware that the dove boat leaves from the Almyrida dive site. As an excellent service however, a shuttle bus will pick you up from the Chania Port dive center and drive you there. Can highly recommend. Thanks once again.

I will not use this diving centre again. All the staff I met were really nice so this is more of a management issue that can give you a bad diving experience. First of all, it seems like they are too sloppy on who they allow on a dive. When we were on the way in the boat, one customer admits she hasn’t dived for maybe a couple of years while another can’t even remember last dive because it’s been so many years since. In other dive shops they would have been more clear to the divers about the need to do a refreshment course or do an easier dive first. This is not just for the divers’ own safety but also for the rest of the large group diving with them. That brings me to my second point. I have dived quite a lot in many places but I’ve never been in such a big group. And we weren’t even paired as dive buddies. The combination of the above also leads to the fact that the two boat dives only lasted for 30 minutes each (instead of the normal 45-60 min for a non technical dive) — and we didn’t even go deep or anything. I had only used half my air when we got up… but I guess that was different for those who were stressing under water and weren’t ready to do such a dive. I have never been hit and kicked so many times during a dive because fellow divers were swimming so chaotically and uncontrolled. It didn’t exactly add positively to the experience. It is normal that divers — whether inexperienced or experienced — have some problems, but here we’re talking about constantly stopping because the dive centre obviously should have demanded a refresher first by a couple of the divers. I didn’t pay all that money to be on someone else’s diving lessons. Again, this is in essence a management problem. It’s not always easy for the dive centre to know what kind of behaviour various people will have under water. However, they already knew half of the group from previous dives, and at least after the first dive, they should have done adjustments. For example they could have divided the group in two so that those who needed constant guidance could get that while the rest would actually get something out of what they paid for. And I have to underline, I have been to a lot of dive centres around the world and been overall satisfied and happy. So this is an exception and some of my fellow divers I spoke to also agreed with what I have described here. This is not just a bad experience because of some other divers in the group, but it is a management problem because the situation should have been avoided at different stages — as I know other centres do. I hope they adjust how they run their centre, because the really nice staff deserves better too.

Purchased a Seac diving mask and a snorkel. Good quality, nice price. The saleswoman helped choose the right mask from a wide variety that they have and was very professional. Thank you!

I experienced diving 2 days ago and it was amazing! The diving center was quite organized and all the staff members helped me a lot; they provided me with instructions and helped me with the clothing equipment. Personally, my instructor Frank was excellent; he had the sense of humour, he was peaceful under the water and this helped me a lot in order not to panic.
