Scuba World in Agia Marina Chania - Agia Marina Street

If you love new experiences or scuba diving, Scuba World is a MUST visit. Agia Marina is a beautiful, friendly location, and a great place to stay in Chania. Niko and Thaeno brought us to a location we would have never gotten to see, otherwise, to go scuba diving. My husband was certified but I, my 20 year old stepdaughter, and 13 and 14 year old sons were not. This didn't matter. They were patient, easy to understand, incredibly nice, and so much fun. Their positive attitudes and absolute love for scuba diving made this one of the most incredible experiences we had ever had! The waters were beautiful, we felt safe, we had fun and got to see the underwater life. They even brought a go pro and additional camera and got plenty of picture and video footage of us that they sent to us later. They also provided us with plenty of water and some delicious fresh fruit after our experience. Additionally, we came back to visit Niko and Thaeno several times, since they were close to our hotel and enjoyed Greek beers with them. The culture in Chania is friendly and amazing, and we were able to experience this, first hand, through Scuba World. We now consider them friends and hope to be back to visit them some day and scuba dive again. I HIGHLY recommend you visit Scuba World in Agia Marina and say hello to Thaeno and Niko, as well as his incredibly friendly golden retriever pup and best pal, Argos. Thank you all for the most incerdible memory that we will never forget!

I did the AOWD course with Nikos and must say I enjoyed it thoroughly. The communication beforehand was clear and during the course I felt safe and at ease the whole time. Nikos himself is a friendly, knowledgeable and talkative man, which makes the time when you are not underwater more pleasant. Would highly reccomend this dive center

Excellent diving center with good equipment and a lovely boat. Did 2 boat dives with Nico. Calm, easy to follow and a very nice person. Lovely dive sites.

We went for a snorkel. At the website we couldn’t book anymore. So we went to the office to ask him if there was any place. So the 2 of us and 2 other Persons went on the trip. The instructor was very kind and enthousiast. On the trip we get enough water and snacks. Told him I was vegan and brought something else for us. We snorkels for about 2,5 hours and did 2 spots. We got a good explanation of what to do. With the 5mm suits the temperature was just right. 10/10 would recommend

Great scuba instructor. They take their time with their customers and make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your trip. I recommend them for your first dive in Crete!

Absolutely fantastic. We emailed Scubaworld from the UK ahead of our arrival in Crete to enquire on the best package to suit us. Nikos replied very quickly giving us all the information we needed to make ‘the right’ decision on what route we should take when we arrived. Nikos made us feel welcome and completely relaxed from the moment we met at his office office, very important as my wife was quite hesitant and nervous about trying scuba generally. The following day we were collected from our hotel bang on time and driven to an amazing beach location for our diving. The expert tuition, safety guidance and dive was nothing but perfect & exactly what we both wanted. We both felt completely safe throughout which enhanced the enjoyment. A debrief, snack & general chat after the dive was followed by him driving is back at our hotel. Nikos is a true professional, friendly, welcoming and an incredibly genuine gent too. Highly recommend

Favourite part of the whole trip!!! We chose to go here because it seemed the most professional of the dive centers near by and had an easy online booking system, but this place is great for so many reasons! The owner was SUPER friendly and welcoming. The dive was private and included transport to a quiet beach on the west side of the island, pictures and videos of the both of us, (he even brought us a packed lunch for afterwards)! It was so great!

I've had a great experience with Scuba World. Very professional instructor and rescue diver, who knows the good spots and caves. We were only us 3 at spot 7, but my girlfriend came along free of charge. Snacks, water and transportation was included for a fair price. All positive, no negatives?
