G	Gary Choy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has more of a "local" feel to me than some other places near Acropolis Museum. It's very laid back and casual but the food is amazing. The staff is friendly and there's live music at least on the weekend when I went. I highly recommend this place!

Didn’t know if we could go to other waiters, but the one that took our order would avoid our request for additional orders by either not looking at us or when we caught her eye, would just ignore us. Thankfully, another waitress was more accommodating. UPDATE: Came back and had relatively better and faster service. The lady that gave us an attitude the last time did so again even from the get go. When we asked for a table, she put her hand right in front of the face of the person in my party who asked and said, “Wait.” She was much friendlier to my kids, but once again, when we waived her down so we can give our order, she just smiled and moved on. Thankfully, we had different waiters for the rest of the dinner.

It is near the acropolis museum but kinda hidden so not so many tourist come here
u	umit k on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been in Athens for about 3 weeks and I think we have visited Opos Palia about a half a dozen times. We love it! Great traditional Greek food reasonably priced. A must try. And to top it off the staff are wonderful.
K	Kristjan V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the grilled talagani cheese, take a bite and lay back, because that's all you'll be able to do once you taste this culinary masterpiece. The sausage was very good as well, add was the bean spread. Greek salad is better elsewhere. We ordered 5 entrees and paid 25€, so yes, this place is cheap. You have to wave down the waiters to get another beer or more food but that's common in Athens. Update: we went back and had delicious green salad (it's huge), marinated anchovies and Dorada fish. Everything was so good that we've added this place to our revisit list once we come back.
V	Vishaal Nagpal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot remember the name of the guy, but he is with the long hair at the time of our visit, he was a great friendly waiter, who was easy to talk to and gave some real good suggestions. The restaurant is Street side and is very local as the majority of the people that seem to eat here are local. It is laid back, raw and chilled out. The food preparation is simple but tasty. We went here twice and enjoyed it both times.
