E	Eirini Karaog on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Athens at its best! Exquisite sea bream and great wine selection. Panoramic views of the capital and high quality service. Booking suggested before visiting, as it can be busy even on a weekday and best view tables are available on a first come-first served basis. Masticha liqueur offered at the end of the meal was the cherry on top of an excellent pie. Totally recommended ?
C	Chase Hasper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was fantastic, our last night in Athens. Overlooking the whole city, we were able to watch the sunset and see the city lights turn on. You get to ride the cable car up and down the hill (turn left when you get out of the cable car). The food was incredible and wasn’t very overpriced for what you get. Their wine bottles are a bit pricey, but they have some cheaper options as well. We were most let down that they no longer offer the tasting menus on their website. It would have been very fun to taste a wider range of dishes, but the entres we had were incredible.

Wine recommendation was spot on and considering what you’re getting was overall well worth every penny. The only warning is getting there and back. Taxi dropped us to bottom of mount where the cable cart to get to top only takes cash and is quite infrequent. Would be nice if cable cart option could be included when booking so already paid for would make a huge difference. Did decide to walk back which was a big mistake. Walking through a large car park full of people drinking and smoking out of the cars playing loud music made us feel most uncomfortable. It’s a visit once kind of place for this reason, so be prepared!
y	yasmin tajik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and an amazing view if Acropolis. The food is very good and prices absolutely reasonable. We enjoyed dinner with the best baclava ever, very fresh, fruity and home made, served with ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you can not walk both up and down then try walking down and enjoy the view and lovely flora. Photo of terrace is not from this restaurant but nearby.

Well worth the reservations and the cable car trip (or hike) up the mountain, Orizontes Lycabettus was made for couples. My wife and I enjoyed our 25th anniversary meal on a beautiful breezy night and we are so glad we did. The staff was attentive and helpful with no rush to open up our table. We watched the sun go down and the Parthenon lights come on. We enjoyed the Feta cheese with honey and black sesame as a starter. I had the Grilled sea bream fillet with grilled vegetables as a main. My wife saw a dish online that they no longer offered but the chef adapted a dish to get close and she ended up with a Seafood Risotto with mushroom trilogy and homemade tartuffe. We ended with a wonderful dessert in the Crushed chocolate mille feuille with wild cherry spoon sweet and vanilla ice cream. Prices were reasonable especially given the view. Would dine here again when in Athens!
S	Shaun Sprague on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A view over Athens at sunset that could bring a tear to your eye! Get a cab to the car park and then walk the 10 mins up the footpath to the restaurant. Service is well intentioned but variable, food is very good.
M	Mohammed Ismaeel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly very disappointing..after making our way all the way up to the restaurant with my elderly mother in wheelchair (and loads of steps) we were told that the ‘table with a view’ was actually indoors at the back of the restaurant and not the terrace. When I called the man who answered confirmed the table had a good view and based on that I confirmed the booking. As you can see from the attached pic our view was of a very bland restaurant. When I spoke to the hostess she informed me that she was the one that set the sittings and they didn’t speak to her, like this was my fault. Food was pretty average but of course you really come up here for the view so normally I wouldn’t have fussed over this but as the rest wasn’t any good here goes! Don’t have the soup unless you like Lemon soup (ridiculously sour) but apparently that’s how they serve it here the waiter said! At least they took this off the bill since we left it untouched. The ‘rack of lamb was these 3 skinny lamb chops and the fish fillet was a bit too boney! Be very careful when you book. If you are on the outside with a view you’ll ignore the other things, but if you inside paying the same as the rest and getting none of the view then I’d think again. Waste of one of only 2 evenings in Athens!!
L	Luke Ernst on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the veal. It was very aromatic and delicious. Eating great food with a nice view of Athens and the Acropolis makes for a special dinner. I totally recommend the experience. Just note that you will have to take a transportation system up the mountain to get to the restaurant. From the time we went, it was 10€ a person to travel in the system up the mountain.
