Misery of Hotel. Mabey in past was hotel now is garbage. Room look clean but bugs come out under the bad. Cleaners come do nothing and same towels put again. Wi-fi Internet poor only on reception sometimes. in the parking one worker caught a poisonous snake and showed it to the guests and he make photos for facebook. Last day ask onner on reception for help she was makeing like lost worker in first day on job. Thats my experience for Ornela Hotel

WARNING: This Hotel can not be recommended. This is not a 4 star hotel. The bed sheets were dirty, the WiFi did not work and there was a flickering light in the room which could not be turned off at night. This was very disturbing. In additoin to that the Bathroom is very small, dirty and moldy. On top of that the refrigerator was leaking. Also there was trash in front of the entrance and also in the garden. When we complained about the sitation at the reception they where not willing to believe us or helping us in anyway. The staff was very unfriendly and they told us that they would not care as they have enough guests. Unfortunately we paid quite a lot for the 2 night stay and it was very disapointing to make this bad experience. Value for money is the worst I have ever experienced in any hotel so far.

Great resort at a great location! Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Rooms very clean with breathtaking view. Private beach and pool are PERFECT! We thought prices were reasonable. Took away a star because wifi was nonexistent.

Short version: Great location but expensive and old. I would rate it a 2 or maybe weak 3 star hotel. (Not even close to a 4 star rating) The good stuff: 1. Great location! 2. Private beach. 3. Free parking. 4. Nice staff. The bad stuff: 1. Rooms/pool area not even close as nice as pictures! 2. Our ”Suite” is apperently just 4 beds in a room instead of 2. So do not expect it to be anything else. 3. No restaurant, just a ”beach bar” that closes at 19:00. Room service available after that. 4. Free wi-fi. What is the point when it not reachable in the rooms? 5. Expensive drinks, and no receipts on purcheses for ex. drinks.(=Greekonomy) I get the impression that the hotel was built many years ago, and the current management has not done much to make it modern and nice again. But nice beach, sipping on my first ever in life mint free ”Mojito”.

Pros: great private beach, nice and spatious rooms with balcony and pool. Cons: not so intimate, you share a lots of spaces with the neighbours, far from the city center by walk.

What can you ask more from a hotel that includes, at a fair price point, the best -private- beach in Syvota, rich breakfast and luxurious enough rooms. The only downfall for my taste is that in 2021 both WiFi and TV signal needed to be better. Apart from that, EXCELLENT!

Disclaimer I: The review is based on my expectation about this place and what is important for me as a guest to feel comfortable. Some of my complains may not be an issue to another guest. Disclaimer II: This is not the hotel responsibility, but I think I have to warn you: Do not go down town by walk! A ferocious big dog attacked our car while we were returning to the hotel one evening. I can't imagine what would have happened if we were out of the car or just walking. Pros of the hotel: Clean apartments, clean pool, perfect private beach near the resort, very comfortable if you have small kids. Most of the staff is nice and welcoming, apart from those who keep talking to you in greek even after you have explained you're not greek. The air conditioning was functioning properly, the fridge also. The mattresses very good, which I think is very important. Cons: The appartment was really small and the furniture outdated. The water kept going from hot to cold very often during a shower. The wifi never worked properly. The phone to call the reception was not functional at all. The breakfast very poor, just the same eggs, sausages and cheap cereals. They do not have a laundry service, and they told us there is no such thing in all the town. The whole area in the resort is full of flying insects. In some days is difficult to find parking.

Just perfect. Huge room, excellent service, good price, free parking, private beach. Just perfect. I do recommend. We were given the time to check out without any rushing around noon. Thank you
