★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στις 21 Αυγούστου του 1944, οι Γερμανοί έβαλαν φωτιά και έκαψαν το χωριό ολοσχερώς αφού πρώτα οι κάτοικοι είχαν φυλακιστεί στην εκκλησία από τις δυνάμεις του ΕΛΑΣ. Σήμερα σώζονται πέτρινοι τοίχοι από οικίες καθώς και το ιερό βήμα από την τότε εκκλησία, το οποίο ενσωμάτωσαν στη νέα εκκλησία που χτίστηκε από τους κατοίκους - απόγονους που έμεναν κάποτε εκεί.
 On August 21, 1944, the Germans set fire to the village and burned it down completely after the residents had first been imprisoned in the church by ELAS forces. Today, stone walls of houses are preserved, as well as the sacred step from the church of that time, which was incorporated into the new church built by the inhabitants - descendants who once lived there.
