★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Delos as part of a guided tour from a cruise ship. This was an outstanding archeological site and well worth the visit. Our guide was excellent and the tour was great about this islands role in history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This avenue is the symbol of Delos depicted in many ads and commercials about it.
It's located from the ferry dock to the left.
The Lions are made of Naxos marble which was shipped here some 2500 y ago.
Have in mind the ones you see outside are replicas, as the originals are inside the Delos Museum which is currently closed for renovation.
Also, one lion is missing - it was taken by the Venetians and is there now
