Palazzo Di Zante - Vassilikos

Terrible hotel. We are here now (July 2019). Very old and dirty hotel. Rooms look very bad too. The attitude of staff not friendly. First we got room in Royal hotel, room looked like barn. After our complain they gave us room in Pallazo di Zante hotel which is worst then the first one. A lot of mosquitos, small and dirty bathroom. I do not recommend any of their 3 hotels

+ all inclusive food is tasty, big choice, always enough for everyone + you don’t have to pay extra for aircon like in some places + we had a nice balcony with a nice view +nice private beach with free sunbeds - there is a problem with wasps, they are everywhere, they sit on your food, drink… there are lots of their nests and noone is taking care of it. If you are allergic – avoid this place - dirty bathroom :( - hotel advertises as a 4 star hotel with wi-fi in the entire hotel area (wi-fi in rooms is extra chargeable) we paid extra money for it, however we still had issues. Wi-fi range is very poor and pages don’t load...

Cosy hotel, very friendly personel, nice food. Family vacation oriented. I went with my daughter and i will go again.

Nice grom the outside. It wort's only 2 stars. The all inclusive drinks and dishes are very poor. The bathroom is very dirty and the shower's clogged often. A true mess. The animation team is very nice but the owenrs must think to renew the rooms and to update the menu with good typical grec food.

Visited 16th Aug to 21st Aug. The hotel rooms are very old fashioned and need refurbishing. The cleaners cleaned our room once and did not leave fresh towels. The good thing about the room was the A/C. The staff were not helpful at all. The food was HORRIBLE. We ate out EVERY DAY. I mean how can the scrambled eggs taste like petrol. Like REALLY? Some items were frozen and some were cold. If you are coming to this hotel. Get Room Only. Because the amount of money you pay for all inclusive won't be worth it. It will be better if you get a Hotel in Argassi as it is close to restraunts shops, etc.

Huge grand building complex (3 hotels) with the number of tourists to go with it. If one likes stairs .. No surrounding village with shops but got its own beach. Hilly area, nothing for people with walking problems or wheelchairs. Beautiful vistas, also to the mainland. Needs updating (otherwise 3 stars)

I will start with the positives. The hotels are in a beautiful location, very close to the sea and a lovely shallow sandy beach. The pools are ok, though there aren't many sun beds at the Palazzo, so it's get your towels down early or lose out. The bar staff are really friendly and they are generous with the all-inclusive measures! However, the staff in the restaurant are unfriendly, which we've never experienced before - I tried smiling at one of the waiters once, but I just got a cold stare back. The food is mediocre at best, horrible at worst, and we ended up going out a lot to eat, which isn't good, having already paid for all-inclusive. The decor is tired and out-dated and we had to call the plumber out 3 times to fix the toilet and the shower. The room-cleaning is minimal. The hotels are kind of in the middle of nowhere, which makes it hard to escape. You can catch a bus quite cheaply to Argassi and Zante, but they don't run very often, which means a 20 Euro taxi ride every day. What with having to eat out and transport, we've spent a lot more money than usual. I wouldn't recommend the Palazzo to anyone, which is a shame, as it has loads of potential. VERY disappointed.

A bit dated last time i went ( 2020) but the staff more than made up for that, so much so were going again this year (2022)
