Simple, clean and worth the price. Very very central. Owners are very gentle and helpful.

Lovely place. Clean and very close to the harbour. Owners and staff are great, very friendly. Classic hospitality of Eagean people.

We were stranded on Hydra due to to bad weather. Irene and George gave us their apartment in Piraeus because all hotels were full. There are the most kind and generous people we have met in all our travels around the world. Go there you will not find any better. Thanks

Awesome place to stay in Hydra. Very close to the port and within the main part of town - close to everything. Hotel was clean, staff were very nice and helpful, as well as the court yard is a great place to hangout.

The Pension Erofilli was wonderful. It was extremely convenient and a quick walk from the Harbor. Every evening we were able to find delicious restaurants nearby and take beautiful walks down the coast. The owners were particularly friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendation and took the time to speak to us every morning and inquire about our day. I hope to return to Hydra in the future, and I plan on staying at the Erofilli.

Visited Hydra from America in May of 2018. Started in the upstairs suite for two nights. Accommodations were very good for the price. The bed was comfortable and the AC was plenty cold. Breakfast had yogurt, eggs, cereal, coffee, OJ, milk and an impressive assortment of pastries costing 8€ per person. The owners were very nice family and accommodative. Very good value for the price. Will stay again if we ever make it back to Hydra.

Very nice place, rooms are simple and nice, bathroom is a bit small. If you need you can leave your luggage before you take a ferry after you stay.

I hate to write negative reviews but I felt horriby misled about Pension Erofili and wanted to warn others what to expect. First, the positives: it's in a great location, handy for the port and no steps to climb (but then again, so are lots of other places - Hydra isn't very big). The staff were friendly and pleasant, the courtyard is rather charming, there is Aircon in the room and the towels were clean and fluffy. BUT...the room I stayed in was just awful: there's no other way of describing it. I wanted to cry when I first saw it. Thankfully I spent less than 12 hours there and just needed a bed for the night as I was catching an early ferry. If it had been any longer I probably would have left and tried to find somewhere else. I'm sorry to say but everything about the place is cheap and nasty: the laminate flooring, the thin and cheap doors, the MDF furniture, the 1980s bathroom tiles, the rusting taps, the mould, the awful shower curtain, the horrible plastic soap dispensers....you get the picture. The room was dark and stuffy and it took some effort to open the shutters; when I did I discovered that the room overlooked a small, dark, derelict courtyard. At one point when I was mopping up a huge puddle of water on the bathroom floor (caused by the ineffectual shower curtain), I saw a worm squirming out of the crack between the shower and floor. It felt like a youth hostel. I booked this place because it had such a high rating on booking.com and can't understand all the positive reviews - I can only assume many are fake. If you are looking for a budget guesthouse in Hydra there are much better options out there - check out Piteoussa, where I happily spent the rest of my trip and which I would highly recommend.
