★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy place near the airport directly at the beachfront. We've been very lucky to stay in App D1 which is in fact the whole rooftop, including a hammock and a large table in the afternoon sun ?
Some very tasty food and pastry can be found right down in the road, only seconds away.
Highly recommened place for a stopover At Athens Airport ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner was lovely and friendly. The place was nice and you could tell they spent time and energy making the room pretty and comfortable.
However the building itself is very dated. The elevator sometimes did not work so I had to use the stairs which I did not mind terribly. But when opening the door to the stairs the doorknob fell off. I was able to put it back in place and secure it but that was a bit surprising.
Another thing: there was some extremely loud and bass-heavy music playing nearby until 2am, something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper. I know it's unfortunate and the owner cannot do anything about it, so really it's a matter of whether or not you can sleep with such background noise.
One other minor detail - the taxi sent by the hotel charges 20EUR as others offer to do it for 15EUR so you might want to book your taxi yourself. On top of that, the taxi they sent today had another passenger besides me and he asked us both to pay the full fare. I must admit it made me feel uncomfortable as I was expecting he'd split the fare between us. I don't know the local customs well enough but I am not sure this is legal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Repair needed - toilet flushing was not working, bathroom floor was dirty looks like accumulated dirt/mold or damage, bathroom ventilation was very loud and dirty.
Loud neighborhood - loud music through the night will closed to 4:30am, and resumed from 5:30am ish again.
Over priced - this quality for over 100€ per night in a dodgy neighborhood is greedy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and funky. Almost like a surfers hut because right next to the beach, so something for real water junkies. The terrace is great to entertain friends, but it can get somewhat windy up there.
