Der Friedhof besitzt auch ein Kremationsdenkmal, in dem die insgesamt 74 indischen Soldaten erwähnt werden, die auf Grund ihrer Religion verbrannt wurden.
The Faliro War Cemetery, Athens Monument (Phaleron Ist Cemetery, the Athens Memorial). The site served as a graveyard for Commonwealth soldiers who died during the 1944-1945 Civil War. Then the Greek state decided with the Commonwealth military to turn it into a cemetery, which is to be used for all soldiers who died during the Second World War. The architect of the cemetery was Louis de Souason (Louis de Soissons
The cemetery also has a cremation memorial that mentions the 74 Indian soldiers who were burned because of their religion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful! It is immaculately kept. A fantastic contrast to the chaos outside its boundaries. The only place in Athens I felt it safe enough for my two year old son to run around with minimal supervision. 5 Star!
