 Santorini, you find yourself in a fairy tale…. It's cool, but you need money, everywhere everything is in euros and three times more expensive from Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never book a day-trip to Santorini! Up to 18.000 tourists try to visit Oia and Fira at the same time. This is not for people with claustrophobia. The picturesque villages are flooded by mass tourism and all of them push their way through narrow alleys, past expensive watches or cheap jewellery. Seajet is a ferry smelling of diesel, the buses wind their way up the serpentines in columns. All tours are the same - logistically completely imbecilic. Anyone who feels like part of a herd of sheep during his day trip is right - only that sheep don't pay 145 € for it!
