Μοναδικό τοπίο! Είναι το πιο στενό σημείο του φαράγγιου Ριντόμου.
Unique landscape! It is the narrowest point of the gorge of Ridomo.

Very difficult to find, since the location on Google maps is not correct. It is at least 300m further down the road. Very bad road, last 1,5 km you have to walk. See picture.

Hot today, even at 900 metres.

This is a fascinating small bridge across an equally small gorge, or rather a cleft in a pretty large limestone rock. From Voreio, a wide track follows high above the river bed, giving some great views of the valley and gradually narrowing (as does the valley itself) while it leads down to the stream. Depending on the time of year, you may or may not find flowing water, though even in the autumn there are likely to be pools. Alternatively, there's a much shorter walk from the village of Pigadia, along a very pretty side valley that meets the main valley at the Pigadiotiko Bridge. However you get there, from the bridge itself there is not a lot to see. but walk down to the river bed (here only a metre or two wide) and there is good view of the bridge, which is built with two arches one above the other. It isn't spectacular in itself, just unusual, but the location is rather good. The grey limestone cliffs either side of the river bed rise sheer, just feet apart, and a huge boulder is wedged between the cliffs (quite safely!) some way above head height. It is more a demonstration of the weight of rock rather than the power of water, but either way it is quite a sight. The bridge and defile won't detain you for very long, but either route to/from it is gorgeous (as is following the river bed, but that's a long stretch) - ideally you'd get dropped at one end and picked up at the other.

Beautiful wild gorge, only for physically fit people. Take a lot of water!
