Near is goodys burger.. island coffee ..
And metro station and lots of fun in holiday. Easter & Christmas
But now a days this place not a safe please be careful with your wallet. Mobile and shoulder bag...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty, dark, no lightning, untidy. Full of immigrants, far too many, gives a feeling of foreign unsafety. On the other hand, we could see it vivid, with plenty of cafeterias and nice garden architecture. For the moment not the place I want to go back to. But this is just for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You must hire people who know english because in tis country people come from all over the world and you are a brand which cover world wide area and your staff must understand english as a Foreign language to be solved the people’s problems i tried to time to order something but no one speaks english. Tnx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casual central square, with cafe and restaurants at the area around and train station. It used to be more beautiful and popular, nowadays it is not a very safe location during the evening hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was worried about all the scary and unpleasant reviews about this area because I had booked an Airbnb close by. Yes, there were a lot of foreigners/immigrants around but I did not feel unsafe at any time.

The square is packed with migrants - most of them from Afghanistan - and is somewhat the heart of the migrant parallel universe in Athens.
In the streets close by there is loads of Pakistani and Afghan stores, mobile dealers travel agents and other services.
A must see if you want to see the impact of migration on Athens and the effect of the Greek economical crisis.
The place may be considered „unsafe“ but with common sense and a little bit of street-awareness you should be fine. I never encountered any trouble. But you maybe want to stay out off the sidestreets at night - they are home to many brothels
Also this square maybe not the most comfortable place for a single woman to go to.
