Expensive, old and overall terrible. The view was great though

The hotel has great views, but the staff are the most rude people I have ever met.

We staid at the posidonion Hotel for 4 nights. We were looking for a double bed room, and for a hotel which accepts pets (our dog). Unfortunatelly the one receptionist (who barely speaks greek) informed us wrongly that pets are accepted over the phone. We agreed to pay 120 Euro for a double bed room which is supposed to be a quadraple room (with a double-bed and a really uncomfortable sofa bed). When we arrived, we had to convince them first that they gave us a wrong information over the phone. We explained it to the owner Yannis who is really nice and realized the misunderstanding. As for the room, it had a lovely view, which was really amazing. It was clean, and the towels were changed every day. The really negative points are: 1. Really unorganized hotel (They still insist that I never informed them about a dog, which I definitely did. I even discussed with the receptionist about the dog over the phone) 2. Low quality breakfast (mostly frozen foods) 3. The Woman who is supposed to be one of the owners (the real one is Yannis who is nice and helpful) is the worst experience I had on this island. She is rude, arrogant, and very loud. She treats everyone really awful. She thinks that she is the boss and that everyone has to beg her, even the customers. She even called me uneducated/illiterate! The worst thing is that I tried to tell them my opinion about their Hotel the day I left (recommendations for improvement), and she literally told me: We don't care about your opinion. We run the business the way we like it and that's it. To conclude, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone if the view was not that amazing. If the owner changes the management, this hotel could easily be one of the best hotels in Koufonisia.

Amazing view..budget friendly stay for your Koufonisia holiday.. They give breakfast as well.

The hotel is situated in the best point of the Island. Has the Greatest view and is near everything you could want. The rooms are basic, the bathrooms should be updated. This is my 4th Year in a row. Wifi should be available in the rooms, not only in reception. Always happy to return here.

Do not stay here, I was terrified of the super. I was travelling alone and he acted very inappropriately with me which actually made me incredibly uncomfortable. Asking me "if I had a boyfriend" or "if I was married?" , by any hotel stands is extremely inappropriate. Constantly calling me over and asking me to seat with him. If you're an alone traveler - avoid. Not only this, but mid my stay they made me move room, when I specifically mentioned at the start that I wanted the same room for the duration of my stay. Very unprofessional hotel (if you can even call it one) and I did not like it all . I highly recommend you to avoid.
