β β β β β Amazing place to stay in Santorini. Without a doubt the best views of the infamous Sunset and Cyclades (dare I say even better than Oia!!) Rooms are abit outdated however clean and to be honest you would rather be outdoors soaking in the beauty of your surroundings anyway. Staff are all very helpful and friendly, accommodating our early arrival and helping us hire ATV. Thanks Prekas you made our time in Santorini unforgetable

β β β β β I hope for business reasons that they will separate their most basic room from their brand and put the room on airbnb or some other website as I can't imagine anyone who stays in that room is going to love it. The whole room and bathroom is dated. The curtains do not offer privacy at all. TV didnt work. It's right next to a gutter so loud water running down through the pipes can be heard. The old phone to call receptions beeps at night so you have to unplug it. The storage space is limited and I think the concieregr realise that anyone staying here will be disappointed as we weren't asked upon checking out how our stay was. I was more than disappointed with this accommodation choice even knowing it would be basic and small as it detracts from the luxury of watching a sunset in Santorini once you return to this sad room.

β β β β β The whole view is very nice, but there are things to live up to. If a suitcase is heavy, or if you want a nice, comfortable facility, you should choose somewhere else. The hotel staff are all kind.

β β β β β We loved Prekas Apartments @ Imerovigli: the highest point on the caldera. Lovely staff and reasonably priced; but most importantly, the only place that could guarantee each room has a perfect view. Plus the all-important pool. It's a long way down to the beach. Most smaller places don't have a pool, and the larger ones charge a fee for outsiders to swim.
I timed my walk to the main square of Fira at 22 minutes, despite all the stairs and the inevitable photography stops. There's a shortcut with a less spectacular view, for when you stagger home.
Also the perfect spot to access the climb to Skaros Rock (scary-arse) and the crater rim path to Oia; both of which we wanted to do.
But the best thing was watching those glorious sunsets from our own terrace, or better still, the pool, in complete privacy at peak season!

Apartments are tiny, not very clean, not a lot of privacy.

β β β β β Fira is not far from the hotel, the view is amazing ??, the staff was very helpful, kind and smiling. We had plenty of space inside and outside.
The pool is not that big but it's empty most of the time, so you can enjoy it alone.
They left us juice and water when we arrived because we checked in late.
The toilet is so small. The bed isn't comfortable and is so noisy. The wifi is not catchable in the room nor outside and there is no network if you want to use data network. It's more of an airbnb Appartement than a hotel room, the hotel norms are not really respected.

β β β β β Just perfect. I stay in the smallest room but even the smallest were enough. The balcony with a amazing view (all day not only in the sunset) and far from the crowd to have a relaxing time but a few km from Oia or Fira. The staff s very helpful and all is clean.

β β β β β I would give the apartments 4.5 stars if I could!
Firstly, the views and price of the captain suite with jacuzzi was 5* - with one shared balcony and a private one on top with the most breathtaking views. I would recommend booking this room - excellent value for money.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything is really clean. The location suited us perfectly, close enough to restaurants, walkable to fira but still very very quiet.
The pool was cold so we didn't try it.
The only things lacking are a lack of breakfast options (Jimmy's cafe was available to deliver very easily however was slow arriving and not very fresh and healthy food choices). And the apartments are in quite a windy location so it was quite unbearable sitting outside during the high winds last week.
