★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful little spot in an alley off the main shopping street. Real Italian food from real Italians! Others may gravitate to the beach restaurants, but don’t overlook this little gem in town. Food was delicious, service was attentive, and capped it off with home made limoncello.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some traditional pasta from an Italian kitchen was just what we were in the mood for, so decided to give Profumo a try. We got a warm welcome and kicked off with a cocktail (my negroni was just right).
To eat, we chose a couple of basics - cacio e pepe and carbonara - both easy to get wrong but delicious if done well. I'm pleased to say that both were delicious - intense flavours, good ingredients and beautifully cooked. They were accompanied by a mixed salad that was enough for two.
We had hopes that there would be enough room for a dessert but were too full. However, there were many other dishes on the menu that we'd love to try so maybe we'll be able to come back again before we leave and, this time, make room for a sweet too!
