 Monument in honor of the Macedonian Stratilatis Alexander the Great. It dominates the entrance of Chaidari at the intersection of Athens Avenue with Iera Odos. It was initiated by the association of Macedonians of Chaidari "ALEXANDER THE GREAT" and was inaugurated in 2010.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το μνημείο αυτο το θυμάμαι καθε φορα που γυρνούσαμε απο διακοπες οταν ημουν μικρουλης να το βλέπω καθως μπαίναμε Αθηνα και ηξερα οτι σε λιγο θα ήμουν σπίτι.
Είναι μία επιβλητική ιστορική φυσιογνωμία η οποια σε καλωσορίζει στην Αθηνα καθως εισερχεσαι. Πολυ ομορφο μνημείο πραγματικά μεσα στο όμορφο παρκάκι.
I remember this monument every time we came back from vacation when I was little to see it as we entered Athens and I knew that in a little while I would be home.
It is an imposing historical figure which welcomes you to Athens as you enter. Very beautiful monument really in the beautiful park.
