F	Farren Mae Spencer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! This hotel is nothing but amazing, we stayed for a week starting from the 8th of May, and was a perfect time to go! We were welcomed with such warmth and big smiles! Nothing was ever too much trouble for the friendly staff! There was so much choice with the food (and drink) selection and all freshly made, it was all soooo tasty! Rethymno Centre is a short taxi ride away which you have to go to the bars and restaurants, ALL WONDERFUL! AND make sure you get a coach trip to Elafonisi beach (best time of year to go as it wasn’t too busy and you really saw the beauty of the place) Overall, we will come back in a heartbeat, beautiful hotel, stunning place, THANK YOU

The variety of food was delicious, fresh and different every day. Drinks at the bar were very tasty. There were 2 pools, the water temperature was perfect. Rooms very clean and spacious. Everyday there is different evening activity/entertainment. The best thing about the hotel was the stuff. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Farenika you are great! Thank you for the goodbye surprise. We really recommend The Syntopia for your stay in Greece!

The manager upgraded us and gave us a special cake when they found out it was our honeymoon. Friendly staff, good food, good range of drinks on the all inclusive, a nice pool and pretty close to the beach. Overall, really happy but just a couple of things to note so you’re prepared: - The hotel is very near a road which can be quite loud. - There isn’t really a sea view and it’s not on the beach (although the beach is 200m walk away) - It’s a 10 minute drive from Rethynmo itself , so there’s not a lot going on immediately outside the hotel. If you’re looking for nightlife or for a big vibe, you’ll need to take a taxi to get there. - The spa is great (Cretan massage) but is actually pretty expensive! - The poolside sun beds are extremely hard to get.
M	MRS C W Smith Lamb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have landed at Heraklion Airport please bear in mind to get to the hotel it is a 2hr drive (via transfer from your travel agent) or if you can arrange for a taxi it maybe quicker so the location is by two main roads so noise is no different from the UK if you live by a busy road yourself, quiet during the late evening. Staff are very helpful, joyful with a good sense of humour, rooms are clean and tidy daily cleaning is done with regular changing of the towels. If you are a foodie that loves the odd tipple (and all inclusive) you will be very pleased with the buffet and bar.

We loved staying here. The only reason I didn't the hotel 5 is because they allow people to smoke on the premises. Sat relaxing by the pool or eating a meal you all of a sudden get a smell of cigarette smoke, nasty.
P	Peter Mekhail on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, five star experience at this resort. It cost us 80 euros to get here from airport. The staff and service was excellent as all of needs were met. The rooms were a bit small but nonetheless were in exceptional condition, and clean. A little dusty but that was about the worst of it. The food was really good and plentiful, morning, afternoon and evening buffet with plenty of selections, and a good mix of food. Drinks were also good, we did not like the limited selections in the afternoon, not sure whyit was limited. In between lunch and dinner, they served a limited selection of food at Canteen. They had entertainment, such as a DJ and live music one night so they do there best to change it up everyday. The pool area was really nice, you need to get up early to reserve the cabanas directly on poolside. Once there gone, that's it as people stay there all day. The location of the hotel is a okay, as you need a taxi to go into downtown/old town; about 13 euros. But you can walk to local beaches and small shops near hotel. Overall we loved it and will be back.
