Positive: The location and the breakfast Negative: The elevator got stuck and nobody came to help me or even respond for several minutes. I finally got out after 15 minutes on my own and nobody knew the difference. Also, our room didn't come with an ACTUAL shower. Just a bathtub. Kind of important.

One of my favorite hotels. The view is magic, very comfortable and very friendly hotel. This is the 1st visit to Athens that I enjoyed most. Surely, will visit again soon.

Only Post when service EXCEEDS. Employees are top!! MG - Sincerely, THANK YOU. From the moment we arrived until the early morning we departed, you treated us like family. Our son will not forget your kindest gesture and attentiveness. To our room service lady who greeted us with a smile and enthusiasm EVERY morning. Thank you. Breakfast views! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Disappointing !!! Five star I doubt . We had one of the better rooms with a nice view . The room however had been totally striped of anything useful - not even so much as a Kettle . The front desk when asked to post something said “ we don’t do that “ . So only ok & mainly because it is in a great location with a nice rooftop bar & restaurant . The large room had a monster tub with no shower . You literally had to sit in it and use a hand held thing - difficult .

I am truly disappointed with the Hotel service. I arrived in Athens about 10 pm and decided to stay at Royal Olympic so i checked in and paid 215 EUR for 1 night. Once i got to the room : 1. heater was not working 2 . There was no bottle of water in the room I wake up in the morning and thought i would like to get coffee at their bar at the top of floor with panoramic view and they informed me that the bar and the restaurant is closed so i can not able to enjoy coffee . Very poor service for the fees they charge. I am very unhappy and this will be my last stay there !!!!

We stayed at this hotel before and it was a nice experience in a very good location. Our next booking was for July 2022 and unfortunately we had to cancel 3 months in advance because my wife is in advanced stage of cancer and we will not make it. The hotel in their wisdom has decided not to refund our accommodation charge, which I find obscene.

I don’t know why the rating for this hotel is so high on Google. The standard rooms are not bad, but they are completely overpriced and this hotel does not deserve a five star rating at all. Maybe it did in 1992, or whenever the rooms were last redone, but now there are so many small things that are not working, and that are just not acceptable for a hotel of that standard. The view from the restaurant terrace on the roof is amazing, thats true, but that is about it. The staff is really not friendly, and sometimes even rude. This is a classical example of a hotel where you pay for location, but if you care a little bit about the place that you stay in, I would recommend looking for another place that has freshened up over the past two decades, and where you actually get value for money.

Lovely exterior of the hotel with a classy foyer. Greeted with politeness at each encounter with reception. Good location to commute around, great view of the temple in front. Rooms are however dated, the standard room is better than the deluxe but note that the same room type can come in different sizes depending on the room you're allocated on the day. Some bathrooms are very nice, some are not. Balcony can have a nice view but luck of the draw as we faced a large wall with graffiti. The gym is most certainly not state of the art, with very very limited equipment. The gym is also in a garage behind the building in an unlit area and not within the hotel complex. Breakfast is good if classed as continental but very limited hot choices on a daily basis. On some days they did not want to join 2 tables together for our family of 6.
