Salty Houses - Kalo Livadi

Do Not Stay Here!!!!! This place is terrible and the staff just walks into your room when they know you're away. Also they overbooked our room and put us in a tiny place and still charged us the original price. They set us up to rent 4 wheelers over a hour away from the location. Then they made up rules which we were not told of. The owner screamed and yelled at us and kept making up rules and regulations. Absolutely the worst place. Also if you're looking for something in a good location this is not it. The places to eat are extremely overpriced and you can get much more for you're money on Tropicana beach. Do not waste your time at this place. These people are crooks.

I went on August with my family and really enjoyed it!!! The place is just perfect in a dreamy location Rooms are very comfortable and all of them have private umbrella and sun beds at their veranda!!! Kalo Livadi beach is one of the most perfect on the island and only two minutes away on foot Our view was full of light blue green and orange! It is necessary to mention that breakfast is a must at this place Sissy congrats on your great work!!! Eleven months left to see you again??

To summarize I’ll just say WOW! But, let me break it down for you... Location: Salty Houses is located in the best part of the island if you ask me, in the part who call Kalo Livadi, a Bay Area that have the most beautiful beach strip. The hotel is not located close to Mýkonos town but the island so small that it’s a shame not to get to it and have the greatest view that you can’t get near the town. Staff: so amazing! Starting from George to Vicky and to Sissy the owner, everyone was so willing to help, guide, take care and attend all of our needs! Hands down, one of the best hotel staff that I have ever encountered! Food: so delicious, clean and thoughtful! I have celiac which mean that I can’t eat gluten, the hotel took care of that right away with the best breakfast! After I tasted the breakfast, I had to try and order from the hotel restaurant, listen now... best food in the island! The prices are great and the meals are big portions. Room: ok, let me start and say you have to get the Aegean Villa!! Private pool, dining area, and a view to die for. Just take it, don’t even think about it. Cleaning service: 10/10, everything is spotless, the sheets, towels, pool towels, floor, toilet and all of the villa had smelled like fresh lemon. To conclude, Salty Houses have all that you need to have the perfect stay at Mýkonos! Definitely will come back and whom ever will ask me, this is the place to be in the island!

we spent 5 fantastic days at Salty Houses Mrs. Sissy and the hotel staff are amazing The private villa with pool offers privacy of a fantastic view both from the bedroom and from the terrace with private pool, on the bay of Kalo Livadi Yorghos, the bartender, is a fantastically polite and helpful person and prepares some cocktails as I have rarely had the opportunity to drink. meals served both breakfast and dinner, fantastic, gourmet cleanliness, almost impeccable services

We (2 families) stayed in private pool villa from 28 May to 31 May. Salty houses made our stay very wonderful. Location : Location was Wonderful. The View from the pool and villa was really Awesome. Hospitality was excellent. Villa is 9 to 10 km from Mykonos but it is worth. Kalo livadi beach just 200 meters from the villa. Breakfast: Breakfast was fabulous. Best ever breakfast ever had. Food and Drink : We stayed for 3 night and every dinner we had in the salty houses was great. Specially Vegetarian we all 4 person are vegetarian so I will defiantly recommend for the food. Cocktails are also very good and unique. Host Sissy is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant Manager George is also very friendly. The food, he recommend was really awesome.

We went to the restaurant this afternoon to have lunch and the food was amazing and the service as well! Amazing views as well!

This place is a gem! (so good that I almost want to keep it secret!) Excellent food and staff. Georgos, in the restaurant, couldn’t have been more professional or helpful. Lovely to lie by the little pool with fabulous views and just a stroll from the nearby beach. Can’t wait to go back and stay there!!
