★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einzigartiges Erlebnis. Allerdings körperlich herausfordernd und nur für trittsichere Personen mit guter Gesundheit empfehlenswert. Die beste Zeit für eine Tour durch die 18 Kilometer lange Schlucht sind Mai und Oktober.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'ancien village de Samaria est situé au cœur des Gorges du même nom. Il a été abandonné en 1962 lorsque la zone est devenue un parc national protégé. Il ne reste plus grand chose à part des ruines. Il se trouve au septième kilomètre de la randonnée traversant le parc, l'occasion de faire une petite pause. Lors de notre visite, c'était l'endroit le plus bondé du parc. Nous n'avons pas pu déjeuner ici car il y avait trop de guêpes.
 The ancient village of Samaria is located in the heart of the Gorges of the same name. It was abandoned in 1962 when the area became a protected national park. There isn't much left except ruins. It is on the seventh kilometer of the hike through the park, the opportunity to take a short break. When we visited it was the most crowded place in the park. We couldn't have lunch here because there were too many wasps.
