About Sandal Mania

It all started as a family business back in 1991 when my father, Vangelis Velitzelos, created Sandalmania continuing his father’s legacy of sandals. In his workshop in Piraeus, he focused on creating handmade leather sandals combining great taste, fashion but most importantly comfort.

Being only 15, I grew a huge passion about sandals. What fascinated me was how this specific type of shoe lifts up the spirit of every individual. Then, I decided to take things further by studying Footwear Design in Askardamykti Creative campus transforming my knowledge of creating shoes into a new era of “sandal mania”.

Όταν πήρα τηλέφωνο η κοπέλα με την οποία μιλησα ηταν τόσο ευγενική και μου έβγαλε τόσο θετική ενέργεια! Πήγα από κοντά για να πάρω το σανδαλι που είχα ζητήσει να μου κρατήσουν και πραγματικά εντυπωσιάστηκα από την ποικιλία, τις τιμές, την ποιότητα, μα πάνω από όλα το χαμόγελο μάνας και κόρης που έχουν το μαγαζί!Θεωρώ ότι τέτοιοι άνθρωποι κοσμούν το επάγγελμά τους!Συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα το μαγαζί! Τα σανδάλια είναι πολύ μαλακά, νομίζεις ότι δεν φοράς παπούτσι και οι τιμές ασυναγωνιστες για δέρμα!! I did not know this wonderful shop. I saw it by chance on the facebook page. When I got on the phone the girl I spoke to was so kind and gave me so much positive energy! I went up close to get the sandal I had asked to be kept and I was really impressed by the variety, the prices, the quality, but above all the smile of mother and daughter who have the store! I believe that such people adorn their profession! I highly recommend the store! The sandals are very soft, you think you do not wear shoes and the prices are unbeatable for leather !!
M	Maria Papa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν έχω λόγια! Από που να πρωτοξεκινησω? Πρώτον: απίστευτα γλυκιά η κοπέλα που με εξυπηρέτησε! Με ανεπιτήδευτη διαδεση για βοήθεια! Δευτερον: άπειρα σχέδια, πολλά μοιάζουν με τα υπόλοιπα που πωλούν στην Πλάκα, με την διαφορά ότι ο πάτος τους είναι μαλακός κ όχι σαν να περπατάς σε ξυλο! Παπούτσια, όμοια με ανατομικά μόνο που είναι άκρως στυλατα! Τριτον: προθυμοποιηθηκαν να μου φτιάξουν παπούτσι για το πόδι μου!! Χωρίς καμία επιβάρυνση! Έχω λεπτό πόδι κ ενώ ήθελα το 40, το υπόλοιπο παπούτσι (λουράκια κλπ) το ήθελα 38! Μου το πρότειναν μόνοι τους να μου το φτιάξουν μέσα σε 3 εργάσιμες! Δεν προσπάθησαν να μου ωραιοποιησουν το παπούτσι ή να μου πουλήσουν άλλο σχέδιο! Πολύ επαγγελματικό! Αλήθεια, μόνο από εσάς από εδώ κ πέρα! I have no words! Where to start? Second: infinite designs, many are similar to the rest they sell in Plaka, with the difference that their bottom is soft and not like walking on wood! Shoes, similar to anatomical only that they are extremely stylish! Third: they were willing to make me a shoe for my foot !! No charge! I have a thin leg and while I wanted 40, I wanted the rest of the shoe (straps etc) 38! They suggested it to me to make it for me in 3 working days! They did not try to beautify my shoe or sell me another design! Very professional! Really, only from you from here on out!
