★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best RENT ROOMS at Loutro Sfakion Chania Crete is Sirocco Rooms.
Amazing view, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, friendly atmosphere, and very helpful owners Maria and George, and the staff Sotos, Irene (min he..), and Mary.
The brekfast , the sandwitches, the cretan pure yogurt with cretan fruits and almonts, the traditional finger food, the drinks (ouzo, tsikoudia/raki, metaxa brandy/cognac, retsina local white wine, etc) all it was simply unbelievable !!
Defently i suugest Sirocco Rooms for your raditional accomodation.
You will feel local, you will feel the cretan atmosphere.

- comfort just correct : shower without any curtain, lamp bulb on the roof ; A/C but not very efficient. Correct bed but no lamp at the head of bed. Only 3 electric shift in the room.
- room clean.
- bad Wifi internet connection which is a drawback while the 3G/4G network is bad as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: A warm welcome from Maria and Giorgos and their friendly staff. A comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the bay, at the quieter side of Loutro. I look forward to returning as soon as I can! Would highly recommend..

However, cleanliness of the room and bathroom was an issue, especially because the shower is not separated at all. If the room had been cheaper it would have been alright but for me it wasn’t good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms have beautiful view but are very old and needs renovation. Especially in the bathroom you feel that it is not clear because all the staff there are built since many many years ago. The air condition does not work efficiently and overall rooms are not value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Like most rooms in loutro the view is amazing even with the cheapest rooms on the first floor. Maria is a very nice host who is available to help you with anything you might need. Nice and quiet end of the bay right next to the beach and a supermarket. The rooms are lovely and clean. Bring a travel kettle if you love a lot of tea or coffee or you can buy coffee downstairs for a couple of Euro..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: This was a late booking for a 3 night stay in Loutro during a 2 week stay in Crete. We were in Room 8 which gives great views south across the bay to the castle and ferry port. Bathroom was basic but functional. Aircon, ceiling fan and leaving balcony doors & shutters open gave 3 options for keeping cool. Fridge in the room was a great bonus. Had breakfast here on our last morning; fresh home made Sfakian pie and frappe, Delicious.. Negative: Would have nice to have a kettle. 47 steps up to the room, not all evenly spaced might prove difficult to those with walking difficulties..
