Semplicemente lussuoso! stanze pulitissime, condizionatori silenziosi, bagno moderno e doccia favolosa, letti comodissimi e ogni sorta di prodotti omaggio per i clienti.. spazzolini, lametta, spugnette per lo scrub, bagnoschiuma, shampoo, crema corpo.. Posizione nelle retrovie lontana dal caos della passeggiata di Loutro ma con il sottofondo dei campanacci delle caprette.. molto meglio!!!!

The rooms are clean, modern and a bit more quiet than hotels in the front row towards the beach.

Firstly, know that you can reach this village only via boat from Chora Sfakion (or the much smaller village on the other side, Fenix). Aim to take the scheduled ferry from Sfakion (or Paleochora, Sougia or Ayia Roumeli if you are coming from the other side) as the Anendyk ferries are economical (about 10 Eur); if you miss the ferry, you can hire a taxi boat and it would cost 25-40 Eur. Secondly, I'm leaving a low rating due to a sense of the hotel owner being dishonest and unhelpful. She falsely claimed we can easily find an ATM on our jouney, so that we would hand over our cash instead of paying her via card. The region requires all businesses to accept card payments. Be aware there is no ATM in Loutro nor in a few of the nearby villages (including Fenix and Ayia Roumeli) so travel to this part of Crete with ample cash in hand. Due to this and a few other examples of non-transparent communication, this hotel left us with a sour taste. Other than this, our room was wonderful: spacious and divided into two sections (bedroom and small living room), with a shaded, outdoors sitting area in front of it. The hotel is located atop a stunning, turquoise beach (though all of Loutro is actually a small strip on top of this beach, designed for tourism).
