★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ κοντά στην κορυφή του Κισσάβου με πανοραμική θέα στον κάμπο της Λάρισας,το πρώτο πόδι Χαλκιδικής και της παραλίες στο στόμιο και την Καρίτσα.
 Very close to the top of Kissavos with panoramic views of the plain of Larissa, the first leg of Halkidiki and the beaches at the mouth and Karitsa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία. Είναι κρίμα τέτοιο μέρος και τέτοια μέρα με ομολογουμένως(Δευτέρα του Πάσχα) αρκετούς επισκέπτες να είναι κλειστό.
Very beautiful location. It is a pity such a place and such a day with admittedly (Easter Monday) many visitors being closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είχαμε μείνει στο καταφύγιο μια μεγάλη παρέα (περίπου στα 20 άτομα) για ένα βράδυ πριν ακριβώς 7 χρόνια.
Το σχέδιο ήταν να ανέβουμε από το χωριό Στόμιο στο καταφύγιο, να διανυκτερεύσουμε εκεί για μια νύχτα, την επόμενη ημέρα να ανέβουμε στην κορυφή του βουνού και να φύγουμε.
Όλα πήγαν όπως τα είχαμε σχεδιάσει.
Το βράδυ της διαμονής είχαμε την τύχη να χιονίσει και είχε ένα πουντιασμό στους κοιτώνες αλλά γενικά είχαμε πάρα πολύ καλύ φιλοξενεία.
Μας άφησαν να χρησιμοποιήσουμε την κουζίνα του καταφυγίου η οποία ήταν σε άριστη κατάσταση. Γενικά προτείνουμε αυτό το καταφύγιο ανεπιφύλακτα.
We had stayed in the shelter a large group (about 20 people) for one night exactly 7 years ago.
The plan was to go up from the village of Stomio to the shelter, spend the night there for the night, the next day to climb to the top of the mountain and leave.
Everything went as we had planned.
On the night of the stay we had the good fortune to snow and it had a pounding in the dorms but generally we had very good hospitality.
They let us use the shelter kitchen which was in excellent condition. We generally recommend this shelter unreservedly.
