Overhyped and overcrowded af. Good luck swimming and breathing those boat fumes ( I'm an occasional smoker but that was pretty brutal even for me) .. 3/10 would not recommend. Don't get me wrong, that place would be beautiful if there were like 15 people. But not like this... local tour agencies are milking the place dry.. pictures taken on Tuesday 1100 am

Incredible water color! The beach is quite deep and steep, with rocks, but the water makes up for it. You can see the shipwreck, but you cannot touch it, even tho some people break the rules and go inside it. The only thing i didn't liked was the fact that all the turist boats come to the edge of the beach and from time to time it smells of Diesel Fuel. Be aware that mid day the only place with shadow is near the ship.

Beautiful and unique place, the beach is wavy and a but scary. I recommend not to bring kids with you cause it's kinda dangerous for them

Totally crowded. Boats coming and going. The Shipwreck itself was vandalized by some retarded Tourist. Wouldnt go there a second time. If you want to visit it make sure you get there in the early Körnung or late afternoon.

Enjoyed the adventure of getting here. Lovely white sandy and limestone pebbles. Only accessible by boat. Clear water great to have a swim. Shipwreck unsafe for visitors to climb on or enter but able to walk around. Would recommend taking a bespoke tour to see the shipwreck rather than a tour that includes a visit here.

Its definitely worth a visit as the water is crystal clear and its a stunning beach. Please be mindful it is a pebble beach and can hurt your feet ?

If you're in Zakynthos you must do this trip, we booked with abbatravel and we had a good experience the driver took us to Xigia beach where we spent one hour then went on to St Nicholas port where we boarded a small boat which takes around 20, the reason it's smaller than some of the other boats is they can get into the blue caves. We went straight to the shipwreck where again we spent a hour, when we boarded again we went to several caves on the way back and also stopped for a 20 minute swim then back to the port onto the minibus and back to the hotel, we left at 10am and back around 4.15, take swim shoes as they are pebble beaches. At the time of posting it cost £35 each which is a lot cheaper than the big operators and you get to go near the blue caves.
