★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A long and windy drive from Alykanas (about an hour) but worth it to find such a tranquil piece of the island. We did this on a day where we were also going on a boat trip to Navaggio beach from Agios Nikolaos so we went West first to the tower and then headed North.
There is rough off road parking for a few cars at the foot of the track to the tower. The views of the coastline are beautiful. As an old Venetian watch tower the history speaks for itself, you can see why they built it where they did. You can imagine how peaceful/lonely it would have been if you were stationed here to keep watch. There are no amenities here so take water and food with you.
