Sirios Village - El. Venizelou

Not the best, not the worst... But decent one.. Quite clean, staff nice and friendly, good wine served for the most of the day. Close to the very nice beach spots and to Chania- walking distance most of the time by the beach. To sum up - pretty nice place to stay

We (a Danish family of two adults and two kids [11 & 14]) stayed at Sirios Village with the all inclusive option for 15 nights in July 2021. During our stay the guests primarily consisted of Danes, Icelanders, and Poles. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel and will be happy to recommend it to others. The Hotel Room Our appartment was quite spacious, had airconditioning in both rooms, and featured a small kitchenette. There was daily cleaning and fresh towels. The provided amenities in the bathroom were fine. The only thing we really needed was a way of cleaning our coffee cups. This wasn't done by the staff and no brush, cloth, and cleaning agent were provided. The Facilities The hotel features two nice and child friendly pool areas with loads of sunbeds. There is also a tennis court that can be rented on an hourly basis (with balls and rackets). The spa and fitness area was closed due to corona. The Food The food is very varied with different themes. There is always barbecue, fish/seafood, meat, and vegetables in the buffet. The food is of a high quality and well-tasting. The snacks during the day are also great - as is the ice cream. The beverages offered are good. The Staff The staff at the hotel is very friendly and service-minded - whether in the reception, at the pool bar, or in the restaurant area. Especially the staff in the restaurant cleaning the tables, refilling the buffet, and making ready for new guests dining are hard working but still manage to smile and be polite.

All in all we have a nice stay

Feels like coming home? Just love all about it, nice staff, top class superior room, good food and the best service? We keep coming back at last once a year, but rather twice?

I was only here for 1 night thanks to easyjet cancelling our flight. Amazing response from the hotel. The barman stayed on 2 hours so we could unwind and have a few beers

I'll start with the Pro. The general staff are great, and very polite and professional. The problem is, it's like having an all-star team, lead by incompetent coaching. This place has the look of shiny, but is not worth the money they charge, compared to other resorts in close proximity. Other resorts provide simple, but useful things like, coffee for the rooms, shuttles to Old Venetian port and Market, and free access for room safes. Sirios does not. The food is below the standard of the surrounding restaurants, and has been my least favorite place to eat so far. This was the consensus of the relatively large group I was here with as well. As high end as it is, they don't serve real juice, only artificial juices. I don't drink soda, so that leaves water. The only saving grace is that it's free if you get the package, so not really. They close the pool down at 6 every night. Not sure I've ever seen that, with such a large group of adults. This is a 4-star resort, I'm assuming by how much stuff they crammed onto one property. Simple amenities go a long way when you're in the price range of Sirios. Decent place for families, but not so much adult oriented for those mixing business and leisure.

Well, this hotel is overestimated. It seems really nice in the photos but the truth is that needs a serious renovation because only the half of it is new. The rooms and the public spaces are from 00s. In our room, the fridge was making so much noise that we couldn't sleep. Also, there is a variety in food but the quality is really low.
