Beautiful place, sensible service , not good for people with mobility issues

Nice place, good balcony and lively couple who own it. Breakfast was a let down but still very good for the money

Relaxed and local feeling taverna. Super friendly waitress. Cheap and delicious food - the souvlaki, kebabs and salad are so tasty. Ate here a few times and always good :)

Pros: close to beach, bars and restaurants, use of nearby pool and sun beds. Cons: room very small, shower room the size of a telephone box, there is mold on the shower room ceiling, pipes and tiles, tiles at base of shower broken, broken tiles under the sink,. The view from balcony directly faces a building under construction. The room was very uncomfortable and very small. There is no sound insulation at the hotel and you can hear people walking up and down the stairs and you can hear everything in the adjoining rooms. The cleaning lady changed the linen and mopped the floor every day but no other cleaning was carried out. The window shutters look as though they hadn't been cleaned since the hotel opened and the air conditioning unit is rusty. Basically not a decent e to stay. Basically it's the worse hotel/bed and breakfast accommodation that we have ever stayed at.

Everything, except the entrance hall where is the reception and the "restaurant" , are not old, are extremely old. The hotel looks like a hotel from at least 30 years ago that never was renovated. I do not know how he obtained the score of "8.2 -Very good excellent location" at Booking. . The score does not reflect reality at all. Photos on the site may mislead you. I gave up staying at this hotel. I gave up the money paid in advance and I paid for another hotel where he could live in decent conditions. The landlord said that I can not return even half of the amount paid in the conditions in which I stayed in that room only maximum 10 minutes ... I think there are no more to say , just the urge to avoid this hotel.

Decent location, a short walk from the beach and the centre of Skala town. The owner is very friendly and the house is quite cute, but the rooms are basic, especially the bathrooms. The breakfasts are really good, and there's enough variety to sit anyone. Overall the hotel is pretty good value for money, so if you want a cheap stay it's a good choice.

First visit here we read previous reviews and came with an open mind. Not disappointed whatsoever!!! Yes the decor is 1970's but the welcome and sea views are beautiful. Breakfast is a buffet style with a choice for everyone. The owner's cannot do enough to help, even supplying endless amounts of tea bags etc for the rooms. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very high level and towels and bedlinen are spot less. Location is perfect, car parking is in the road and works on pot luck. The only negative is that we would not recommend if you have trouble with climbing stairs varying from 1 to 2 flights. But if you can would recommend to request a sea view as some rooms do face the town.
