★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic and dated rooms, they are clean and are serviced daily. Breakfast is basic.The staff in the hotel and pool bar are amazing, great service and very friendly.
Pool area is good and the food at the pool bar is excellent and comes in large portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A welcome return after a few years absence and still as good as ever. Comfortable regularly serviced rooms around a lovely garden setting with excellent sea views just across the not too busy front road. Great pool and loungers always available and the pool bar has all you need. Would get 5 stars if British continental breakfast tastes were better catered for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect little traditional hotel, perfect location, lovely friendly staff. Original features from when it was an olive mill in the front gardens which is a lovely touch. Gardens are absolutely beautiful, so many colours and well looked after. Rooms are cleaned every day and the staff who clean them are always friendly and lovely. Will be sad to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing time here. The location is brilliant, also the park in the hotel. It was so nice to have all these plants all around us. Also the pool was pretty nice. Staff is SO friendly and I wanna say thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
What I would absolutely change is the breakfast because the food was the same for the whole week and that REALLY bothered us. A little change (for example if you add some fruit, nuts, omlettes (which are not payable), etc.) would be great.
The rooms were nothing really special, but it was brilliant we had a balcony and it was very relaxing and peaceful.

We wanted a no frills place to sleep, it's very clean and rooms are cleaned every day and beds are made up.
Some reviews say the breakfast isn't very good, the breakfast is more than adequate, plus you can have as much as you like.
The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay a happy one.
The owners make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and the owners nephew remembers everyone's name.
The pool is cleane and of a good size, the pool side bar/restaurant is a definite plus.
Tara is in the perfect location in Skala, 300yds from the village and is so close to the beach that you only cross a road, that's it, pick a sun lounger and soak up the rays, or swim with fish in the warm crystal clear, blue water.
Would we go back to Tara Beach Hotel!, yes, it's the most relaxed I have ever been.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Oil Mill corner taverna to the Tara beach hotel is a great place. Food and pricing good. However, the music played during the day is not suitable, if they play more low key or Greek music that would be great. Instead of loud night club music!!
