Skiathos Oasis Hotel - ammoudia

This is a characterful & friendly place with free table tennis, free pool table & spacious gardens. However some of the loungers, sunshades & furniture are in need of repair or replacement & some parts of the bar areas & rooms need a decent clean.

The hosts Mike and Elina are fabulous and make you feel part of the family . Nothing is too much trouble and the grounds are spacious with an array of hammocks, swing chairs etc - not forgetting the hens , goats and dogs . A real home from home and a great place to meet people 5/6 min walk into town

The oasis is rustic little hideaway. It definitely ticked all the boxes for us . Micheal the owner was delightful on arrival and remained pleasant throughout as were all the staff .Our visit was the end of season so you have to allow for the fact that staff have moved on and this can leave the place looking a little neglected. Make your own entertainment. But I was told by people who have returned several times that it's usually great fun here . The apartments are decent but definitely not 4 star . Well kitted out and a bonus was there was a bottle of complimentary water and a toilet roll to get your holiday started .. oh it's the little things that make a big difference . The bathroom was something else .. The shower area was in need of a make over but again, it served the purpose fine .. just remember to move your loo roll or you ll end up with moist toilet tissue . Pool area I thought was lovely ,small but lovely for a dip and a cool off. close to the bar .lovely garden area . Be prepared for the nocturnal animal noises in the close neighbourhood .. Theres a shepherd with a little herd of sheep he walks daily ..a rooster and hens that never shut up ,but it definitely adds to the charm of your visit . In a heartbeat I d return . Absolutely loved it here.. The actual resort and accommodation were lovely.. Views were lovely. Very quiet and relaxed and a very short 5 minute walk in to town.. The owner Mike and his family were very friendly kind people.. Took us out on trips for a day.. The bar staff were so kind and friendly.. Very tidy as well.. Cleaners done a brilliant job of looking after a family of 5.. Entertainment every night. Happy hour every other night.. They have 2 dogs with are very well behaved and kind with all ages.. We stayed for two weeks and we will be returning for another stay.

Great location for Skiathos town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a very bohemian atmosphere, quaint pool (bar side) with lots of sunbeds. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. Only downside, some parts are a little tired and need a freshen up. Rooms are kept very clean. Absolutely loved our holiday here. Thanks Mike, George, Elena, and Spiro, for everything (and Tui, of course). Be prepared to have to travel to the beaches though. ?☀️??

A very friendly and relaxing place to stay Mike and Eleni and staff do a fabulous job, I can't recommend it high enough, we will be back next year. Just came back from our second stay at Oasis and again we loved our time there Mike and the team do a great job, friendly and polite, nothing is to much trouble, rooms nice and clean and cleaned daily, gardens are kept well, pool and pool side bar are great places to relax and the 2 weeks went by far too quickly. Thank you Mike and the team. Will see you next year. Keep up the good work

The Oasis is truly one chilled out place. Location is the best - a steady 10min stroll on the flat and your in the town. Great owners and staff who work so hard keeping everyone happy. The bar & pool are bang on. The rooms are clean and tidy and the shower worked every time !! If you want lots of marble and just be a room number to the staff then this isn’t the place for you - the owner Mike is one of the most charismatic people you’ll ever meet and very helpful. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but the place really needs a makeover, it's very tired and dated. It is dirty and the and starting to come apart in places. The grounds are nice, but again tired, some of the sun beds fell apart when we sat on them. It's in a good location, not far from from the port and the town. With a little money spent on it, it would be ideal.
