★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to visit, especially at night when you can admire the illuminated city's reflection on the calm water surface. It's not too big to explore by foot, the center is easy to reach and offers a good variety of restaurants and shops to visit. Make a stop here on one of your evenings if you have time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in zante a visit to Zakynthos Town is a must such a lovely town although busy. Avoid early morning as this is when the ferries come and go so traffic is crazy. The church was interesting if you are into history and the tomb of Saint Nickolas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The port is basic, nothing to write about. A long way to walk with luggage. I suggest you hang out in Solomon Square as long as possible then hop a cab to the boat. There is one cafe at the entrance, make enough time to walk to the boat.

Zakynthos offers plenty full for those seeking adventure.
Beautiful main square, gorgeous streets filled with local shops and local food.
Well worth visiting!
