Also contains an informative miniature version of Zakinthos town, displaying what the town looked like before the infamous earthquake of 1953. An interesting museum that is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Zakinthos town!
P	Pedro Zunino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Few pieces but very beautiful art. These icons and paintings were recovered from the island many churches after the devastating earthquake in 1953. Impossible to miss : two impressive iconostasis from the XVII century.
R	Răzvan Mitre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the 4 euro entrance fee. The upstairs part is closed. Plus almost everything was in greek. The art works are interesting, but they are not kept in a climate controlled environment, and they are degrading. The main room is the most interesting part, with a scale model of the old town before the earthquake. This part is free. But the other 2 rooms which require a ticket are not worth the price.

The building has two flours.The museum often hosts temporary collections and events. The staff is helpful and polite.
