★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The history of this island is very unique as it was once a Venetian Fort to protect the port from the ottomans and then used a Leprosy colony in the early 1900s. It is an easy ferry ride from multiple docks on the east coast and well worth the visit. Plan to spend around 1.5 hours on the island and do some hiking, so bring good shoes.
