★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Star Galaxie was recommended by fellow Crete travelers. At great inconvenience to both him and his mother, the young owner of the company (Vageli?) went above and beyond, meeting us at the airport and then driving us over an hour back to our villa in the village of Prines. Door-to-door. He gave us an excellent overview of the island point-to-point. While the car was far from new it was perfect for our ten days on Crete. Marie (another owner?) helped secure the rental via patient emails. Sorry if I screwed up the cars return. Thank you Star Galaxie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this company on Google and emailed them for an offer. They replied quickly and were the best price with the most comprehensive insurance of all I contacted. We chose a Kia Piccante and were quoted 319€ for 10th-21st July. This included 2 free child seats, which was great, because a lot of the bigger companies charge extra daily rental for those and it really puts the price up. Yannis sent me a WhatsApp message so we could contact him easily and we let him know when we took the bus from Heraklion to Rethymno. He picked us up from the bus station and drove us to Star Galaxie's office to do the paperwork. Yannis was very helpful, showing us the best route to take to get to our accommodation up in the mountains and Maria was lovely and friendly with the children and let us use the bathroom. We also got free water and a larger car at no extra price. We had no problems with the car the whole time. My boyfriend drove and he would have liked an engine with more power for the hairy mountain slopes, but we got what we booked! :) Drop off was great and Yannis recommended a great restaurant for us to have dinner. (The Souvlaki Bar) The next day, Yannis was able to help me find out about bus times to Heraklion too. All in all, a great experience and I would recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good experience both with the employees & the car. Although we were a little bit confused by the good price they offered us, we chose to rent a car from them. We received a Nissan Micra in very good condition. The best thing for us was that we took the car from Rethymnon and leave it to Heraklion airport. The staff was kind and polite, they offered us all the details we needed. If you go visit Crete, pick Star Galaxie. You won't regret it!
