C	Christina Chrisikou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραίο πολύ παλιό γεφύρι, με στάσιμα νερά. Το βρήκαμε εύκολα και υπάρχουν δύο σημεία πρόσβασης. Όταν αφήσετε το αυτοκίνητο, περνάτε από ένα καθαρό μονοπάτι και σε ένα λεπτό βρίσκεστε στο γεφύρι. Το σημείο δεν ενδείκνυται για μικρά παιδιά. Σίγουρα άξιζε η βόλτα. Nice very old bridge, with stagnant water. We found it easily and there are two access points. When you leave the car, you cross a clear path and in a minute you are on the bridge. The spot is not suitable for young children. Definitely worth the walk.

Τυχαία είδαμε το μικρό μονοπάτι μεσα από ένα χωράφι και το ακολουθήσαμε με ενδεχόμενο να μην το βρουμε και απλά να περιφερομαστε μέσα σε χωράφια.. Ούτε ταμπέλα ούτε τίποτα. Κατά τα άλλα μαγικό το τοπίο εκεί... Ο δήμος θα έπρεπε να κάνει κάτι να αναδείξει την ομορφιά του και να είναι πιο εύκολα προσβάσιμο στους επισκέπτες. (βλέπε Πηγές κρύας,Λιβαδειά) Great place but to find it you suffer! We accidentally saw the small path through a field and followed it with the possibility of not finding it and just wandering in fields .. No sign or anything. Otherwise the landscape there is magical ... The municipality should do something to highlight its beauty and be more easily accessible to visitors. (see Cold Springs, Livadia)
K	Konstantina Gk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφο τοξοτο γεφυράκι με πολυ νερό στο ποτάμι, τρεχούμενο από τη μια πλευρά και στάσιμο από την άλλη. Είναι καλά κρυμμένο. Υπάρχει μονοπατακι που σε οδηγεί σε ένα άνοιγμα για στάθμευση του αυτοκινήτου. Μετά είναι 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια, εύκολα προσβάσιμο. Beautiful arched bridge with plenty of water in the river, running on one side and stationary on the other. It is well hidden. There is a footpath that leads to an opening for car parking. It is then a 2 minute walk, easily accessible.

Μετά το γεφυράκι που συναντάς στον δρόμο αφήνεις το αυτοκίνητο και δεξιά διασχίζεις τον αμπελώνα στην αριστερή όχθη του ποταμού. Picturesque bridge beautiful and very well maintained Hard to find. After the bridge you meet on the road you leave the car and on the right you cross the vineyard on the left bank of the river.
S	Sotiris Skevis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ηπειρώτικο στυλ μονότοξο, πέτρινο γεφύρι μ' ένα άνοιγμα εκτόνωσης (για περίπτωση μεγάλης ροής) στον ποταμό Ασωπό Βοιωτίας, 70 km από την Αθήνα . Ονομάζεται γεφύρι Δαφνούλας ή γεφύρι του Γκέλη. Ο Ασωπός μήκους 57 km πηγάζει από τον Κιθαιρώνα και ενισχύεται από ρέματα της Πάρνηθας και των Δερβενοχωρίων. Διέρχεται από το Καπαρέλλι, Θήβα, Δάφνη, Οινόφυτα, Συκάμινο και χύνεται στον Νότιο Ευβοϊκό ανάμεσα σε Ωρωπό και Χαλκούτσι. Δυστυχώς το ποτάμι δέχεται πολλά απόβλητα από τις παρακείμενες βιομηχανίες με συνέπεια τα νερά του (όχι οπτικά) να μην είναι καθαρά. Ο Ασωπός ήταν γιος του Ποσειδώνα και της Πηρώς ή του Ωκεανού και της Τηθύος ή του Δία και της Ευρυνόμης. Σύζυγός του ήταν η Μετώπη, κόρη του Λάδωνα. Είχε πολλά παιδιά : τον Πελασγό, τον Ισμηνό, τη Σινώπη, την Πειρήνη, τη Θήβη, τη Θεσπία, τη Χαλκίδα, την Αίγινα, τη Φιλύρα, την Τανάγρα, την Κόμβη, την Ορνία, την Αντιόπη, την Άρπινα, την Ευάδνη, την Εύβοια, την Ισμήνη, την Κέρκυρα, την Κλεώνη, τη Νεμέα, την Πλάταια, τη Ρόδη και τη Σαλαμίνα. Όταν συνάντησε τον βασιλιά της Κορίνθου Σίσυφο και τον ρώτησε ποιος απήγαγε την Αίγινα, για να τον ευχαριστήσει του χάρισε μια πηγή στην Ακροκόρινθο. Το γεφύρι προσεγγίζεται από 2 μεριές. Είτε από τα Δερβενοχώρια είτε από την Εθνική οδό Αθηνών Λαμίας. Από όποια διαδρομή και να πας πρέπει να κάνεις 5-6 χλμ σε χωματόδρομο που τώρα τον χειμώνα έχει πολύ λάσπη. Αν πας καλοκαίρι δεν έχει λάσπη αλλά η ποσότητα νερού του Ασωπού είναι μειωμένη. Δεν υπάρχουν πινακίδες και θέλει λίγο αυτοσχεδιασμό. Τα τελευταία 100 μ. γίνονται από χωράφια ή λιβάδια όπου υπάρχει αρκετή λάσπη. Το τοπίο στο γεφύρι είναι βουκολικό και θυμίζει την Ήπειρο. Κτίστηκε μεταξύ 1600-1700 και ανακατασκευάστηκε το 2014. Δεν υπάρχουν πολλές αναφορές και ιστορικά στοιχεία ώστε να ξέρουμε περισσότερα. Epirus style single arch, stone bridge with an opening of expansion (for case of high flow) on the river Asopos in Boeotia, 70 km from Athens. It is called Dafnoulas bridge or Gelis bridge. Asopos, 57 km long, originates from Kithaironas and is reinforced by streams of Parnitha and Dervenochorion. It passes through Caparelli, Thebes, Daphne, Inofyta, Sykamino and flows into the Southern Evia between Oropos and Halkoutsi. Unfortunately the river receives a lot of waste from the adjacent industries with the result that its waters (not visually) are not clean. Asopos was the son of Poseidon and Pyros or Oceanus and Tethys or Zeus and Eurynome. His wife was Metopi, daughter of Ladon. He had many children: Pelasgos, Isminos, Sinopi, Peirini, Thebes, Thespia, Chalkida, Aegina, Filira, Tanagra, Kombi, Ornia, Antiope, Arpina, Evadni, Evia, Ismini, Corfu, Kleoni, Nemea, Plataea, Rhodes and Salamis. A	Antonis Trikas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of ticks during spring-time!! The stone bridge is in great condition but the area, as most nice things are in Athens, is abandonded to wildlife. If you have a dog with you in the spring-time, beware of the ticks as there must be livestock around there and when we visited they caught loads of them! I am writing this review basically as a public warning.
