β β β β β We had a nice supper at Strata restaurant in Chania. We took zucchini balls, fried cheese and tomato bruschette as appetizers. They were simply delicious. We went on with a typical moussaka and lamb filled rolls. The whole was watered with local white wine. My experience was really appreciable by myself and my lunch companions considering the excellent value for money.

β β β β β Great food. Average price. Good wine selection and the option of non alcoholic beer. Food ranges from local dishes to more touristy food. Children's menu available. Ally location is a great setting. At this time slow because of covid ( just a couple of days open). Great place for a quiet meal.

β β β β β Great food a little bit away from the crowds of the city center. Excellent food. Had the best Moussaker and stuffed wine leaves during my vacation here. Also the filled aubergine have been really good. Can highly recommend the place ?

β β β β β Really wanted to give Strata 5 stars as the food was really amazing but the service does let it down a little. If the owners read this then I hope it is taken as constructive criticism, as it will take very little to improve. Our main course arrived before plates were cleared from the appetisers and when we finished our main course, we had to ask for our plates to be taken away 25mins after finishing, wasn't a very busy night and just lacked that little bit extra attention.
I would still visit again and hopefully if the service improves, I will give 5 stars.

β β β β β It is a cozy place with very polite staff and very good food. Itβs one of those hidden gems within the tight city streets so you can find it either by accident or by walking aimlessly through this beautiful city.
We have had chicken souvlaki which could have been better, musaka which was perfect and greek salad.
Prices are around the average in the Chania, or a bit below average.
Waiter will serve you with a cake or other sweet treat before you leave with raki (rakia or otherwise known as whiskey). When I think about it, youβll get this after-meal serving in probably every place on the island ?.

β β β β β Food was delicious and we all enjoyed our plates. Good wine and a variety of dishes to cater for different palettes. Great service for our very late arrival after 11pm. Beautiful setting and scenery ?. Thank you, we'll be back

β β β β β A very nice hidden tavern with a lot of dishes and a great wine variety. The staff was very friendly and polite. The three stars go for the prices as they were a little pricey for the quantity.
