Best Restaurant in Greece

R	Rahim M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went into this restaurant after seeing quite busy environment. 4 star because - order fish dishes and I got octopus. Is not like I don’t like octopus. I already ordered one octopus dish and I don’t want to have same dish. End up I just took the octopus dish. - no sign of saying credit card machine is down, I always travel with very little cash and end up have to give out most of them. Apart of that, food and environment is fine.
L	Lynn Leask on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was recommended. I've never had a bad meal in Greece in nearly 40 years of visiting until last night. The restaurant was empty when i arrived and that didn't change during the evening. I just wanted basic chicken souvlaki for my main. The service was slow and when it finally arrived the chicken was dry and tasteless and the chips were overdone. No tsatziki or extras on the plate. The owner was hassling for business. Until the food arrived I thought turning on the outside lights, painting the chairs a bright colour and presenting the outside tables would help to make a good initial impression. I understand there is music in the season. The owner said it costs too much when it's quiet. A restaurant on the front was packed with customers enjoying the live Greek music. Shame as some ppl have had a great experience here. Wouldn't have minded being the only customer if the food had been good.

But what made our night even more special was the band that was playing and made a song out of the guest names before serving the traditional raki. The owner was true to his restaurant's name with his good heart and amazing recommendations! Would highly encourage to go for a memorable evening!

T	The Rambler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only here for a drink. Nice little place, people seemed to enjoy the food. They messed up my drink order though. The music was performed with theatricality. The mustachioed lead player (on laouto) engaged well with the crowed and got them involved well. However, their musical ability was weak overall. They hacked at the instruments absent mindedly and frequently went off key. He even strummed the laouto open stringed from time to time while he waved his hands about, leading to a distracting out of key twang. Maximum points for entertainer value though. He brought up a woman and recited her Greek poetry while his partner accompanied him musically!

Apparently the seatings outside are reserved for tourists ordering also overpriced food or, for instance, more expensive bottled wine. Instead, we were asked to seat inside, tucked between two barrels. No thanks.
