An excellent hotel in the heart of the center of Athens. Very recommended.

Nice, small, tucked away from busy traffic centrally located hotel. Very pleasant staff. Continental style breakfast (the scrambled eggs were excellent). We'll happily stay there again . PS. Opposite is Marco's - genuine Greek food for Dinner.

Amazing hotel in the centre of Athens. Great for short or even longer stays. Most attractions are in walking distance, the rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and decorated. Owner and staff really care for their guests.We have been here three times already and will be back for sure.

This is a wonderful hotel, a hidden gem in Athens! My husband and I stayed for the Athens part of our Greek honeymoon and it was a great start. Do not skip the breakfast! My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying the balcony and attention to detail from the staff that made our stay wonderful!

Great hotel, great service, great breakfast. Rooms are not big but very comfortable and cozy. Air conditioning is god, the bed is very comfortable. Every corner in the room and hotel are spotless clean (which is important for me). There are light refreshments in the lobby all day (cold water, juice, home-made fruit liquor, candy for the kids). (And- don’t miss the historic Gramophones on the first floor) Every-time I’m in Athens i stay in this hotel. Thank you Aphroditi for making our stay so spacial!

First let me start off by saying the hotel itself is nice, its older but seemed very clean and well kept. However the reason I give it only 2 stars is my entire family was staying around the area for a wedding. One of my own cousins wanted to come over from his hotel down the street while my wife and I finished getting dressed for dinner. The lady at the front came to literally BLOCK him on the stairs and say NO, YOUR NOT ALLOWED. I mean its my room I am paying for, why in the world would it matter if he came upstairs to wait for 10 freaking minutes until we were dressed. After this the same lady blocked my door and proceed to tell my wife and I that we were being too noisy. We are not noisy people we are not crazy wild people and we understand its a smaller older hotel but I mean really, I cant help your doors don't close softer. My cousin was staying at "MET 34" hotel just around the corner. When we wanted up to his room and it was a completely different experience, they were professional, called his room to ok it with him and boom we were allowed up. I just thought that one of the ladies at the front desk of Sweet home should be a little nicer to the guest. She was rude. I would recommend staying at MET 34 for around the same price. Its much newer and the front desk clerks were not rude.

A fantastic family boutique hotel at Athens city centre a five minutes walk from all main tourist points. For me a hidden gem. You can feel the love of the owners running the business in all details. Extra points for the amazing greek homemade breakfast distinguish the hotel from the rest.
