R	Ralph Durham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a delight. Stopped for a bit on the trip from Sfakia to Loutro. Water taxi was 13 round trip. You can walk there from both villages. about 1.5 hours. Considered a nude beach. The dock is also a restaurant of modest proportions and scale but then food is quite good. Beach is rocky but the water is clear as a bell. if you want a beach with fewer people this is worth the stop.

We rented a boat tour just for two. 150 EUR for two person at Hora Sfakion. The boat took us to Sweat Water, Loutro and Marmara Beach and back to Hora Sfakion at the times we wished for. We spent 3-4 hours at this beach. We find sunbeds without any problem. 5 EUR for two people. It is a pur joy to swim in a beach this clear. We have been to almost every recommended beach in Krete and this was one of my personal favorites.
