C	Charles Guérin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driving back to Hania, we stopped by chance under the trees. Fee seconds later, we had the waiter taking the order.. Tomato salad with feta, tsatziki and 2 pitas... No more than 10 minutes to get everything on our table.. And it was amazingly good!! Very good taste, and so cheep. We do recommend such simple dishes taken under trees shadow!

From the moment we arrived and asked for a table it was as if we were inconveniencing the waiter. We then waited ages for menus and then again for the order to be taken. When food arrived it came in two batches, so my husband and daughter ate theirs while my son and I waited. We ate ours long after they had finished. The bill then took another age to arrive. We discovered that this was because the waiter was sitting in the bar enjoying his own meal with a friend! I spoke to the lady cooking when I went in to pay (to be honest we could have left in the time it took and nobody would have noticed!) She and a young lad were working incredibly hard and she was most apologetic as well as shocked that her waiter was not doing his job. A shame as this was our first day here and had it been good we would have returned.
V	Vag Kal (Glober) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have given two stars instead of one because of the scenery which was really nice (we were having launch under forest trees, next to a river with beautiful bridges and geese swimming around). Food was average or bad. Lamb chops which should had been the best dish were full of fat. Worst thing was the flies which were literally swarming and I had to be eating with one hand as I continuously had to swing the other over the plates in order to protect them (probably not something that the restaurant could affect but this has been a major part of the experience). Service was also below average as despite the fact that everyone was friendly we had to wait for approximately 20 mins after we had asked for the bill, in order to pay.
F	Fabian Souris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are certainly better places to lunch at Vryses. Maybe our bad experience was due to the Covid situation and stock problem but the meat was extremely dry, our appetizers were served at the same time as the main courses. The place is beautiful though.
