★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful taverna with friendly staff, ample seating and great views. I came for a coffee rest on a hike, but the options for coffee are limited hence 4 stars instead of 5. It's a lovely place though, recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Cretan food, nicely presented. This is an established family taverna where the young newly-qualified chef is trying out new things. Five of us ate copiously for well under €100. The homemade ice-cream that came free with the raki was fantastic. Recommended.
